Nick is leaving Miami for the Tide! I guess he got tired dealing with
the pro athletes. Who could blame him? http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=jc-sabanleaves010307&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

It would have taken me about 1 minute to make this decision. Who wants to deal with pro athletes who make more than you do?

He gets all the decision making and the fat check to coach where he is best suited to be--College!! Alabama has finally got a real solid coach that can handle the pressure of coaching the Tide.

How long will he be there? 3 ... 4 months?

The way Alabama fire coaches he better not invest in real estate so quickly!!!

My old coach at Georgia Tech, Bill Curry, went there in 1987 & 1988. They were 1 win away from the National Title in 1988 and they fired him because he wasn't an Alabama alum, etc... They have that "good ole boy network" still working in Tuscaloosa.

It's a no brainer. The Dolphins are going nowhere (Culpepper over going after Brees). He gets a fat contract and near total control.

I think we should have Hack weigh in on this one since he played for Saban at MSU.He knows him better than any of us.

[QUOTE=longtimefirsttime;31933]It's a no brainer. The Dolphins are going nowhere (Culpepper over going after Brees).

Multiple NFL Physicians recommended Culpepper over Brees due to the fact
it was a shoulder (throwing) that may have been aggravated during rehab
where as in Culpepper's case he may have a lack of mobility but no arm or
throwing issues...I might also add that hindsight is always 20/20
