Now that the Browns season is over (tongue in cheek), my attention is focused on the draft being a draft geek. Our guy Andy is really moving up on the draft board and it looks like he's a solid middle round pick as of now. Of course things change when the bowl games are done and the combine comes around, but maybe he moves even higher after that. I just thought it was really cool going over all my stuff and his name keeps popping up. Funny part is they usually mention he went to Massillon in the reports I get.

Yeah they are pumping him up big time....Crazy to think that he did play Oline in HS and he is going to get drafted to the NFL in that position....He has worked hard to buld his body though...good work to him.

Like Andy, I have also put on 60 lbs since HS. Actually wasn't that hard for me. :glare:

With Ohio States Downing (Glenoak) and Barton (Perry), we could have three offensive lineman from Stark County playing in the NFL.

Yes, Downing is moving up as well, but I think I saw where Barton is going back to OSU, so he'll get his shot later

I'm sorry but you are presuming a lot to know "where you are going with your comment." What I was referring to is that unfortunately we have had some star players that we have to cringe when we see their names hit the paper. It may be sad but true. I'm extremely happy to see our former athletes set great examples for our upcoming players. I guess I'm a dreamer when I'd like to see all of our former players go that route. And yes, I remember that when Andy was a Tiger, he was a very hard worker---this didn't just happen over night.

Andy was a captain and he was only here for one year if that says anything at all.
