Very good article. It sounds like he has learned a valuable lesson. Let's hope for his sake, he doesn't backslide. In fact, his story is something that a lot of younger guys could benefit from these days. And I hope they are made aware of this story.

I am glad for him though, everyone deserves a second chance. It's those 3rd,4th, and 5th ones that get me:tounge:

GREAT article. I believe it should be required reading for anyone 16 years and older. Might make a difference.

Great idea, the coaches of all the teams should bring it front and center in the lockerroom. Believe me, a lot of kids need to hear this from someone who's been there like young Mr. Boone.

I think the kids would be more attentive to a "closer to home" story, from someone local. And not just on the subject of alcohol.

Cody Butzer and Billy Relford could open some young eyes with their stories of a wasted talent.
