Raiders lost a toughie over at the fieldhouse last week... Can the Tigers duplicate the Bulldogs' fete? This is a tall & talented Raider 5.

Thoughts?

How tall are they?

Their roster from last season listed two underclassmen at 6'8''. If they're still there that obviously will be a concern. But the Tigers are used to using quickness to help offset the height disadvantage.

longtimefirsttime,

Massillon needs to win this game Friday night because they know a dangerous game looms Tuesday night at the Field House against two-time Division I state champion Canton McKinley.

Oh...and for the record: I WILL be in a suit and tie for that game. That means I have a job to do. I probably might go in all-black (entrenched in black is my heart and soul) for that one or I might wear my gold suit and black dress shirt, I'm still trying to determine which one I'll wear.

Sorry for ranting about my stylish fashion but getting back to the Warren game: There should be a good crowd. I'm predicting about 2,200 will be in attendance.

This game is a "seed game."

Do Herron or Glover play basketball?

I don't believe Herron plays hoop. And Glover graduated early and is to be registering at WVU this week.

No, Herron and Glover used to play JV a few years ago but haven't played the past 2 years.

Harding is 6-2 on the year. They lost by 1 at undefeated Toledo Scott and by 3 at 6-1 Canton McKinley. Their wins have come over Mansfield, Bedford, Campbell, Farrell(PA), Mooney, and Brookhaven. All of them except Mooney are pretty good. Mansfield has 2 losses, Bedford just won the Cleveland tournament, Campbell only lost to us, Farrell only lost to us and Hoover, and Brookhaven beat Buchtel to take 3rd at the McKinley Classic.

Harding's lineup goes...

#40 Damian Eargle- 6'8'' Junior
#21 Chris Henderson- 6'8'' Junior
#3 Keelyn Franklin- 6'3'' Senior
#24 Sheldon Brogdon- 5'11'' Sophomore
#10 Terrence Hudson- 5'10'' Senior

Aaron Elder(5'9'' Sr), Avery Qualls(6' Jr.), Elijah Jordan(6'4'' Jr.) come off the bench.

Harding graduated 4 of their top 5 scorers from a year ago but had some talent coming back but you didn't know how it would produce without much varsity experience. So far, it's been surprisingly good against a pretty tough schedule. This will be another good test for us on the road against a good team.

RAIDER,

That lineup is nearly the same of the 2001-02 Harding team that defeated Canton McKinley 69-59 in a fast, hard, physical contest. That was Shelby Chaney's coming out party as he and Adrian Hill had seven dunks between them both (Chaney four, Hill three)!

I'll be at the game tonight. Look for me in a blue pinstriped, three-piece suit and a black dress hat.
