No sports fan should have to endure this 2 years in a row!

Pittsburgh was the tougher team than Cincinnati. That whole game changed on Shayne Graham's missed FG. It was almost like watching Mike Vanderjagt (Vanderjerk) and Doug Brien (still cryin') when they missed FG's against the Steelers in the 2004 and 2005 playoffs!
TigerLoverFromAfar,
Even though the Steelers dominance has ended, if you have DIRECTV, you can watch them and the full Super Bowl XL game Thursday night at 8 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. on NFL Network (I just might decorate the whole living room again and party like they won it again)!
Pittsburgh Steelers football...six AFC titles, five Super Bowl titles, numerous division titles, only AFC team to win 15 regular season games, only team to defeat two undefeated teams late in one season (a 16-2 season) longest tenured coach in NFL history.
Championship tradition. Enough said.

I said for weeks that the Steelers and Bengals season would end at the same time as the Browns. Good thing I didn't jump on those bandwagons huh?

longtimefirsttime,
If it's any consolation, Pittsburgh has won six AFC titles in 13 appearances and five world titles in six appearances.
Cleveland is 0-3 in AFC title games and Cincinnati is 0-2 in Super Bowls.
GO STEELERS!

If I'm not mistaken, all three are cleaning out their lockers today.

Good thing I don't get the NFL Network. Because if I did, I'd be sure not to give a rat's behind.

It's Thursday, January 4th, and the Steelers are no longer World Champions.
The world is a better place to live. That bandwagon just emptied.

CarlE,
What a funny way to start my morning! I am bracing myself to watch Steelers head coach Bill Cowher's resignation this afternoon.
15 years in Pittsburgh is a pretty long time but I tip my hat to him for staying tough, even through tough times during his tenure. It all paid off with a world championship last year and for that I am happy.
It's going to take some time before Pittsburgh will win another championship but I can be thankful that Cowher never has to hear that he "can't win the big one" again.

I'm hoping he's winning several big ones, against your team, very soon.
