MTSB in the Citrus Bowl Parade

The Massillon Tiger Swing Band will be marching in the Florida Citrus Bowl Parade. This will be televised on channel 5 (WEWS) at 6:00am on new years day.

According to the TV Guide on the internet, the Rose Parade is on Channel 5 at 10:00. Any further information.

I taped it at 6:00AM on channel 5.

If you've ever looked at my pictures of the band and thought "Why do they look red?" well, it's not JUST my camera.... They appeared on tv as "RED".

The shade of the uniforms is so dark orange that it almost always appears as a shade of red.

Neverless, the band looked and sounded GREAT!

I believe they showed it down here in Columbus when it happened (Dec. 30), so I missed it.

Were they pre-empted by a Minute Maid orange juice commercial?

Nope, it was actually very good coverage. They said nice things about Massillon, and even pronounced it correctly!

I hope you guys watch it at 10 am actually they show them at 10:35 on channel 5. They played Tiger Rag.

The kids work hard to go to something like this. You would have thought that the community should be aware of what they are doing.

I'm on vacation, so can only read Inde online, but I wouldn't doubt they missed it.

As I recall, the Inde didn't print anything last month about Peral Harbor until the next day on December 8.

IMO, since Copley News Service bought them, they pretty much STINK.

Sure, they cover Tiger football, but being a Massillon paper, that's like bragging about being present at your own birth.
