I didn't realize Tiki Barber was retiring. I thought a reporter suggested it and really took alot of heat about it because it wasn't true.
Flutie is finally gone. What a shame. Wasn't it him that did the drop kick field goal?
Although Zidane retired from international play, I believe he is still playing for his club team.
What a career Yzerman had.

Yes. He said he wanted to do it his entire career and finally found a coach that would let him try it. He's a guy who fans liked to root for because of his charity work and for defying the odds of being a short quarterback.

MILAN, Italy -- Italy defender Marco Materazzi finally disclosed what he said to Zinedine Zidane in the World Cup final that provoked the French star to retaliate with a head-butt.
"I prefer the whore that is your sister," Materazzi said during an interview in next week's edition of Italian magazine TV Sorrisi E Canzoni, according to Italian news reports Saturday. He previously acknowledged he had insulted Zidane's sister.
I do like what Zidane's coach had to say:
France coach Raymond Domenech this month lauded Materazzi's strategy for getting Zidane sent off.
"I say 'bravo' to him," the coach said.
