Not sure if you guys heard this but WKNR 850 has a new owner. He was on Kenny Roda (sp?) last night and was taking calls from the audience. He stated time and time again that the station was going to stay as sports talk radio and was asking listeners what they wanted. Many called in to say that they wanted Mike and Mike back and it sounds like the guy is going to try to make it happen.

I still like the station even after the huge shakeup, and I hope any changes made are good changes.

It looks like the new owner is going to finally pump some money into it and try to add more local hosts. I'd like to see Peter Brown back in Cleveland. The former Program Director with the horrible "We talk sports, always" (No you don't!) promos left the station this week.

They also announced that for the Ohio State National Championship game, the pregame show starts Sunday night. A 24 hour pregame, how sweet is that? Instead of taking time off next week, I'm taking off the 8th and 9th to prepare for, and recover from, the game.

I wish they would bring back Bruce drennen (sp?)....

How did all that trouble he got into pan out?

I thought he had a good show and I was ticked when mike and mike came on but they grew on my a bit..............I would like to see him get one of these second chanced everyone seems to get these days........

Bruce Drennan was sentenced to 5 months in prison for not paying taxes on gambling winnings at the end of July. I'm not sure when he actually started serving the time. After he completes that, he then has to do 5 more months on house arrest.
