Coombs reached the peak of his Colerain coaching career two years ago.

I wonder if this will spell the beginning of the end of Colerain's state-level success? Their tradition of success only runs back to the mid 90s and it was largely due to this coach. That and being a public school in a town otherwise dominated by St. X, Moeller, Elder, etc. might spell doom for the Cardinals.

I bet alot of the talent in the nati area start signing with UC-- great move for Coombs for a step ladder to other jobs and for UC getting homegrown talent to stay home!!
I wish they were dedicated to having a quality program when I was there!

I saw the posts on Yappi. The Colerain posters think the sky is falling and are having to increase their levels of Xanax and Zoloft.

longtimefirsttime,
I have always LOVED the Cincinnati posters on Yappi for their humor. They were my second favorite posters on that site.

I think so, Vic. I'll bet you a "kool-ade" that Colerain hereafter goes the same way Princeton did after Mancuso retired.
