I was not able to find a schedule (the Athletic office or Hall of Fame Lanes would). But I did find this preview.
Boys-
"Center AMF Hall of Fame
Head Coach Bill Reese (second year).
Top returnees Kyle Dingler (Sr.), Nate Heimann (Sr.), Richie Schembechler (Jr.).
Others Nathan Bruce (Fr.), Travis Gowins (Jr.), Earl Gray (Sr.), Zachary Ingram (Jr.), Ryan Lowers (Jr.), Cody Matthews (Fr.), Jon Pressacco (Sr.), Brandon Ricker (Soph.), Jason Smith (Sr.), Kyle Straight (Jr.), Chris Thornton (Jr.).
Strengths Experience with five varsity returnees.
Weaknesses Spare shooting, no “big gun” to lead scoring.
Reese says “I’m looking forward to a fun season. I’m waiting to see who will step forward to lead the team.”
Girls-
"Center AMF Hall of Fame
Head Coach Carol Leonard
Players Brittanie Haring (Jr.), Rachel Cain (Soph.), Marissa Cantwell (Fr.), Olivia Drake (Fr.), Danielle Fritz (Soph.), Kylee Gardiner (Fr.), Cassie Keith (Jr.), Molly Keith (Soph.), Laura Lehtinen (Jr.), Stacy Margulis (Jr.), Tanya Nicholas (Jr.), Tierra Nickels (Jr.), Courtney Piatko (Jr.), Casey Reese (Fr.), Tiffany Slutz (Fr.), Brandi Zehnder (Soph.).
Strengths Individuals with solid scores and decent averages.
Weaknesses Spare shooting.
Leonard says “We have a good group of girls who want to bowl well and have to potential and enthusiasm to do so. The girls are eager to practice, and have shown me they are striving to do their best.”

Dang. I wish they had bowling when I was in school. I probably could have made the team in 6th or 7th grade.

I would also think this would be a good place to look for future beer drinkers.

2006-2007 Massillon Tiger Bowling Schedule
All Matches Start at 4:00pm
1/16 at Jackson @ Park Centre
2/1 vs Heritage
Cool....Massillon plays both the high schools I went to in bowling. I didn't even know that Heritage had a bowling team. They're a REALLY small school, and they don't have much other than basketball, track and a couple other sports. But I guess you don't need very many kids for bowling.....
Also, I thought everyone said that Jackson never played Massillon in any sports? Who knows, though? Maybe after scheduling you guys in bowling, we'll start scheduling the Tigers in other sports as well.

I didn't even know people from Jackson bowled. Can you have a caddy for that?

I'm sorry, call me whatever you want, but I DO NOT consider bowling a sport. A fun recreation? Yes. An activity? Yes. A great way to spend time with your kids? Yes A skill? Yes------------ A Sport? No
I also will include fishing, hunting, and nascar into that same equation. Heck I might even through golf in there too, and I love to golf.

I agree with you pretty much about bowling not really being a sport.
However, my post was less about that and more about the fact that the two schools were competing against each other in something. Mainly because it has been said many times that they never, ever schedule each other in anything at all. This proves that they do.....even if it is something such as bowling.

I think that the phrase "schedule each other" is a bit misleading. It is far more accurate to say that Jackson won't schedule Massillon. It is well documented that Massillon has repeatedly offered to play Jackson in many sports - it is Jackson who will not accept the invitation. Please don't imply that both schools bear responsibility.

OK then, my point was not about whether or not bowling is an actual sport, or that Massillon hasn't asked to play us in sports before, but that Jackson DID schedule Massillon in something.
There. Is everyone OK with that answer?
Hopefully, we'll start scheduling Massillon in some more sports. I think it would be a great idea.

It's going to have to be in something other than bowling before anybody feels it's a genuine overture.
