Congratulations Brian! I've enjoyed watching you play the last several years. You definately embrace the Tiger attitude in your approach to the game! You will be sorely missed, that's for sure. Way to go !

Good luck at Illinois!

They obviously have been making inroads in our area. They currently have seven players from Northeast Ohio on their roster (also Joe Morgan from McKinley and Ryan Palmer from GlenOak in addition to Antonio James). Congrats BG!

The Illinois coach was in the stands last night watch BG play B ball.
He was sitting with the Ball State coach. Ball State signed the Ifft kid from Dover.

... There is absolutely nothing negative about a free education, whether it be at Illinois, Penn St, Akron U, or Ashland.

Amen, brother!

I haven't seen or heard anything as to what BG plans to major in; or otherwise his career plans after college & football. Most all of the Big-10 conference schools are excellent in pre-med, engineering, and agriculture. Strictly speaking on academics: yea, it's not "Ivy League", but he'll be at a very good school.

Illinois spent a LOT of time courting Brian. He was on their radar from early on, and their persistance paid off. They wanted BG badly, and he was very captivated by their interest !

Best of Luck !!:TIG2:

Any chance of BG playing basketball in college? I know playing both sports at the college level is tough to do. Just wondered if he was going to focus on football or if he may try basketball as well.
