I just saw the film for the new Rocky film (Dec 20th) and am very anxious and excited. I plan on seeing it on opening day. Do you plan on seeing it and what are your thoughts on it. For me the franchise inspires me to fight on in life and to be somebody and be happy in life. To live with "The Eye of the Tiger". Its a great franchise and I hate to see it end. Maybe "Rocky Jr." will wanna be a boxer.

It might be a rental later on. However he should have stopped after Rocky IV. Even he admits making this movie was a bad move (despite a good payday).

Thats quite interesting information there. I wonder if that changes plans for a 4th Rambo movie?

I really liked the first three. I think I'll give this one a shot, too.

There's nothing like a good "Rocky" movie!

Sounds to me like he is glad he made the movie and thinks it will be good. Seems like the concerns about making the movie were "about the strain a rigorous training routine would have on him."

Yo Adrian.....
Kevin wants to see this..I think I am gonna be at home- after watching the Contender on tv I have to say his acting chops are gone..

Where Rocky 5 failed was it was a street fight and not in a ring like the others. Not much training comming up to the fight either.

No offense taken Buckeye1. I personally liked Rocky III (with Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips) and Rocky IV (the battle against the Russian). Gotta love Eye of the Tiger! I still don't know how an actor who mumbles has made such a long career but he found the right roles to get the paydays.

I really enjoyed all of the previous Rocky movies, but this seems like a stupid idea. I mean, isn't Stallone pushing 60 by now? Even if he's still in his 50's, he's too old to play a boxer, if you ask me.

Plus, I never thought he was much of an actor. I'll save my $7.00 for a movie that has better acting and a more belileveable story line.

Stallone also wrote the original Rocky. Pretty good writing, if you ask me.

I don't think he mumbles in real life, does he?

Antonio Tarver better be good in that movie or I'll change my mind about that "Jones decision over Tarver was a bogus decision and I'm sure your father will attest to that" stance (LOL)!!!!!

Anyway...look for Winky Wright to win tonight!

I raided the cheapie bin at Wal Mart and got all kinds of old Clint Eastwood movies. The Dirty Harry series, spaghetti westerns, etc. Worth every dime!!
