Anybody check this guy out?

From Mansfield, but fights out of Massillon............

I knew something was out of place when I saw the TY on his belt........

He has made it to the semis of showtimes Super Middleweight tournament....

Watched him at the Civic Center about 2 years ago. Kids got talent, but they have trouble keeping him focused.

Super nice kid!

Has the same manager as IRON Mike Tyson !!

I have seen Hanshaw fight along with his dad. Heck, I even seen him in amateurs as well!

He is a win away from fighting for the IBO Super Middleweight Championship if he can win his ShoBox semifinal bout at a date to be determined. I have more leads on Hanshaw if you want to know, PM me.

Hanshaw might become the first Stark County boxing champion and that will give Massillon their first boxing champion!!

P.S. James Douglas (Columbus) and Frankie Randall (Warren) were Ohio boxers that held titles--Douglas at heavyweight and Randall at super lightweight (don't forget he handed Julio Cesar Chavez his first loss in 1994 after Chavez won his first 90+ bouts).

I have seen his hometown listed as Massillon, Mansfield and Warren. He does wear the tiger print trunks. Gotta love that.

Maybe it's because of his ties to Mansfield or maybe "Tony the Tiger" is copywrited. I don't know for sure.

Longtimefirsttime,

Junior welterweight Tony Lopez had that nickname "Tony the Tiger."

i would think it is because he is from mansfield......at least thats what the majority of his bios say.....

If he wanted to represent massillon I would think he would drop the TY and throw an obie on his shorts.......

regardless best of luck to him, i will be watching and rooting for him...
