While I am thankful for many things, I am particulary thankful for being blessed with my four unique and wonderful kids and their continued good health. Also for a roof (albeit old) over our heads and never having to send a hungry child to bed. And my husband and provider who STILL puts up with me:love: (I'm sure there is a spot reserved for him in Heaven)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of the Massillon Proud community!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May your Thanksgiving be as happy as a turkey that got away:hug:

Kamd50,

I am thankful for graduating from Mount Union College in five years. I am also thankful to the entire city of Massillon for welcoming me with open arms and allowing me to fulfill my career expectations. I am thankful for the Massillon fans who were there at my side the last two years and also there for me when I faced tough times of adversity and ridicule. I am also thankful for having a lot of friends from this tradition-rich city and also getting to meet Tiger Don two years ago and his son Brian (not to be forgotten are my other friends from Lincoln Way East). I am thankful for everyone on MassillonProud.com as they are the main reason why aside from others...this site is #1 in supporting their team, #1 in general news, and #1 in college and pro sports news! In all, I thank the entire city of Massillon and it's residents for playing a major role into where I am today as I couldn't have done it without their open arms and generosity.

I am also thankful for the opportunity to have been a writer on this site. I am also thankful for my mother and father, who always have stressed the importance of me having a good time in life all the time...and for raising me with strong professional standards. I also want to thank my late grandfather for all the good times we had...too bad he's not here, I miss him terribly. And special thanks to the rest of my family (even though they are ALL OSU fans)!

I am also thankful for the friends I have come across the last five years of my life as I love them all very much.

I am thankful for Massillon police detective Bobby Grizzard for keeping the city safe from Internet predators lurking the streets. Grizzard and Massillon police will always have a place in my book for their success.

I am thankful for the Massillon pressbox officials as they do the best job preparing for game nights and media relations as well...Massillon is #1 in media relations!

I am thankful for a lot of things and I owe it all to the city and the people that gave me a chance and stood behind me these last two years and the professors at Mount Union that spent countless hours in getting me ready for my career! !

Thanks! And here is a special gift for you all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Ng9dkTi5I

P.S. Well...I have to send out one more...I have to also send my regards to Canton McKinley statistician Frank Palombo...I've known him for seven years and he is a big reason why I am in this field today as we met back before the 1999 season (there is no way I am ever going to leave him out in the cold)!

To God for giving me blessings and the simple things in life.

Thankful that I had the opportunity to serve my country and be picked to serve in the Submarine service.

I am very thankful to have a wife that loves me, takes care of me, and is smarter than I am and likes marching bands!!! This helps me to steal the remote and watch other football games, instead of HGTV!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Tigers!!!!

There is just so much to be thankful for.

I am so very thankful for…

All of my family and having them close by this Thanksgiving. (especially those three grandsons -- Huey, Duey and Louie (their aliases.)

I’m thankful for a free country to live in and those fighting to protect it. (Thankful for living in Massillon too).

I’m thankful for friends and co-workers who mean so much.

I’m thankful for health and the ability to work to provide the necessities of life.

But, most of all I’m thankful to a great God from whom all blessings flow and for the best gift he gave -- Jesus.

To one and all on MP.com -- have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Oh, the Lord is good to me,
And so I thank the Lord,
For giving me the things I need:
The sun, the rain and the appleseed:
The Lord is good to me.

I'm thankful for my wonderful family who cares about me. I'm also thankful for my three beautiful and loving children, and for my husband, who is the best thing that's ever happened to me, and for our new baby who will be here very soon, and that he's healthy so far.

I'm also thankful for my job, my home, and for the fact that I live in this country, where we're blessed with so many opportunities and freedoms.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday, and got to spend it with the people they love.

Yesterday, we got the word that our grandson is safely out of Iraq and is in Kuwait awaiting his flight back to Texas. Nothing can make us more thankful than hearing his voice and knowing he's safe.

I am also truely happy for you, your family, and him. God bless him and whatever path he chooses to follow next.

I only wish the same could be said for the Warner family in Canton who received the news the day before Thanksgiving that their son was not coming home alive. The young man just graduated from McKinley last year.
God bless his family and bless him with everlasting peace.
