I will say that it is funny how he said the OSU defense was nothing special. How does he think we feel about his defense? We put up 42 on their good defense just as they put up 39 on our good defense.

It does sound like a case of "sour grapes." Maybe if he was given some time (after the emotional loss) he would have phrased it differently.

I thought Mike Hart was the little guy on the Whiners! If so, why wouldn't he say to his face? What's he gonna do, punch Marlow in the knees?

i loved how hart said "i guarantee that if we played again the result would be a lot different" (or something like that). he's probably said that same thing each of the last three years.

i guess when you can't beat 'em, you have to talk nonsense.

Word is he heard his whiny head coach say it in the post game locker room speach!

It went like this:
"Well boys, I'm not going to go out there and complain about security going thru your luggage this year, I've been thinking about it and I've come to the conclusion that the best thing to do is to lobby for another crack at that damn Tressel guy by saying that if we get to play them again it'll be different. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna say tht the game won't even be close. That'll get us a few votes among the pollsters and I'll have another crack at beating the S O B"!

This guy is embraced as the second coming of the late great Glen E. Bo Schembechler by the UM faithful. 10-1 is an awesome year for a program with such low expectations. Heck, nobody gave them a shot at being 10-1 before the season started. Even the polls had them at #18!

As far as Mike Hart goes, we need to give him his props for being another in the long line of great Michigan running backs that will come out of UM with high expectations only to be a bust in the NFL!

Did anyone hear that tool Braylon Edwards yammering on about how the Browns were getting better? He made these statements right after the choke job vs. Pittsburgh.
