Hi Gang,
Brandi is in the Cleveland Clinic. She donated one of her kidneys to a long-time co-workers son. They have lost 5 family members to kidney disease.
Brandi was to come home today, but she hasn't been doing so well after the surgery. Maybe by the weekend, she will snap out of it. As you all know, she has a huge heart, and this time, it cost her a kidney!
The recipient is doing AWESOME, and Brandi has given him life, and the opportunity to live a long and prosperous one!
So, please, as you lay your head's down on your pillow, ask God to look over someone, who has given someone else, the ultimate gift.
Be well, and hopefully we'll be ready for week 1 !!
:thanx:

I'll keep Brandi and your family in my prayers. I've heard that kidney transplants are sometimes more difficult for the donor, but I'm sure that she has wonderful doctors up at the Clinic.
PLease tell her that we're praying for a fast and full recovery for her. :)

Your wife must be a special person! One of my children just went through an unusually painful ordeal with a spinal tap, as the doctor had suspicions of MS might be developing. After an agonizing week, we just received news today that MS could be ruled out, so I know how you feel, but also that God does answer prayers and your wife will be in mine as well as all involved. God's blessings:angel:

I noticed your wife was at the scrimmage tonight (she was wearing her DAWGH8R jersey). I'm glad to see that she obviously is feeling better:sunny:
