Long-time Cleveland Cavaliers TV voice Michael Reghi is being replaced by Detroit Pistons TV voice Fred McLeod. It seems that he's good buddies with owner Dan Gilbert.

i thought reghi was very professional and did a great job. he certainly had to made things more interesting when mark price was next to him. anyway, big mistake by gilbert.

Not sure I'd go as far as great, but he sure did make some of the crappy analysts better than they really were. Kind of a shady move by Gilbert with the team on the verge of a deep playoff run. I don't need a total homer calling the games.

This is total BULL!
Who is going to tell us to "Watch out for Flight #23!"?
Who is going comment on how many "helpers" Lebron has?
Who is going to call it when Donyell Marshall "steps back and sweet strokes that triple try?"
How will the new guy describe when "Drew Gooden back rims that 20 footer"?
What about " E Snow in a hurry!"
"Larry Hughes with the rip-away"

I back you on this one! My favorite "Reghi-ism" was "You can book this one to the Cavaliers!"
I'm going to miss his powerful and emphatic voice!!

They are still trying to get their morning show on the air.

Michael Reghi did a great job..............When the Cavs had a stinker of a year (Which was quite often before Lebron) He never sugar-coated it........

I liked his creative phrases. And I too respected that when the team stunk, he said so. Maybe Gilbert was looking for more of a "homer" announcer.

They did make a good move dumping Ronnie Duncan as PA announcer.

They will break down the entire Cavs organization with this "new ownership".
If Lebron leaves in 4 years, the program will be left in shambles.

There definitely is a "Detroit Pistons Part 2" look to the organization.
