Idiots, absolute idiots. I dont think it would take too much to start a new organization and put these bums out of their misery and their all-expense paid trips to hawaii.

Thanks for posting this. I saw it in the PD and meant to post it. If the OHHSAA thinks these folks are going to give in, they're very wrong. These are some very well funded people.

They ought to make ME the commissioner of the OHSAA. And yes, there will be some serious changes under my watch!

Dr. Strangemind,
I can see it now: Keno Sultan has been appointed as the new commissioner of the OHSAA !
Football: One minor change here. The Division I state football title game returns to Massillon. Division IV and VI will be in Canton. Division II and III will be in Canton with the Division V game being in Massillon. Touchdown celebrations will be permitted (spiking the ball, dancing, motioning to crowd) as long as they are in good taste. If not, 15-yard penalty and loss of touchdown! OVERTIME...each team has to drive down the field after kickoff but each team gets one chance to score (one team scores, the other has to or the game is over). If neither team scores after 12:00 minutes, the game ends in a tie.
Basketball: Only two changes here: student sections can be assessed technical fouls. Once a section gets two technicals, they are ejected. Overtime periods go up a minute from four to five. Players are given six instead of five fouls. Technicals will still count as personals though.
Baseball: State semifinals and championship game is played at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
All other sports are OK.
If a player or coach gets ejected, they will not be suspended two games. They will be allowed to coach or play the next game. Same as football and other sports.
District, regional, and state championships: teams will shake hands twice, once after the game and after trophy presentations. Winning and losing coaches get to address fans after accepting champion and runner-up trophies.
Players must maintain a 2.0 GPA to be eligible in ALL subjects, no matter what they are.
And no one...NO ONE will be penalized quickly, every situation EVEN the Hathaway Brown situation will be analyzed closely and being the believer in second chances I am, I will reprimand some schools but not punish them quickly (depending on seriousness of infraction).
Have a good time :2thumbsup:! (for my mother...this icon represents her greatly...)

I've said that if I'd ever win one of those $100-million lotto jackpots, I'd either buy OHSAA, or put 'em out of business with another "member" organization.
Along with that, I would appoint Keno Sultan to the Board of Commissioners.
I would be the Grand Exaulted Potentate, with a hat like Fred Flintstone wears to his Loyal Order of Water Buffalos lodge meetings. I would NOT have any decision making authority, but with the exception of screwing the parochial schools.
Keno: I hope you'll accept this position....
