Crazy Man on the Loose

I just received a call, to keep my doors locked and don't answer the door for anyone. There is a crazy person around 27th St NW, either drunk or high on something with a gun. This is said to be true because it is coming from a reliable source. Anyone living in this area, have you heard or see anything.

I live right behind St. Barbs and this is to close for comfort for me.

Well, I guess some of it was true. Still man or men that had a gun and around my neighborhood. Geez, it's still scary when you get a phone call and hear that kind of news. Come on hexumjunkie, it was half the truth and if you ask me they are still crazy!

Just trying to report something that was given to me that if anyone on here was from this area, they would know what was going on and I reported it just like it was given to me and it was given to them from someone within!!!!!!!

According to the Inde, this happened on the 300 block of 27th Street, which is almost right behind my house depending on which side of the 27th St, it happened on and Chauncy is a side street going East, towards 25th Street ending towards Gorrell School. I am sure the authority notified the schools to have them locked down. We have Gorrell, MMC and St. Barb's in this area.

They probably had a car parked on that street and took off.

Still to close to home, I am just glad the man involved in this incident was not harmed, I am sure shook up a bit but not harmed thank God!

I think that was the person (Ty) my husband was talking to at a restaurant in the beginning of Sept. after an Akron Aeros game. He was with three or four other guys. It looked like they just got down playing softball, must be in a league up there somewhere. And no for all you smartbutts....they were not playing for the Aeros!!! LOL

I lived next door to Wayne Detweiler. He put a fence around his yard and cut our football field in half! Anytime a baseball or football would go over the fence, he would take it and not give it back! He was a real jerk!
