Very nice work!

I will say that the helmets with the block "M" on the front look bad, in my opinion. I think I like the ones with the leaping tiger the best.

The logo posted for the 1979, 1980 and 1981 years are incorrect. I played back then and still have my helmet. I also have a picture here at work that was published in the newspaper of me holding my helmet up after a win. I don't know how to get you this picture as proof, but xtiger can verify it. He was in the same class.

79, 80, 81 helmets - We had white helmets with orange facemasks. There was a solid orange stripe down the middle of the helmet, along with two narrower black stripes on each side of the orange, maybe a half inch apart. On the side of the helmet, we had the "flying Tiger" with a long tail.

My helmet was much more banged up than xtiger's. He never hit anyone all season. LOL!

That is pretty nice work, DieHard! I still like the white helmets with the traditional Obie the best out of all of them. Second best, the white ones with the paws or M's from the 70's:rockon:

I like the 98 helmets. I think that that leaping Tiger should be on our helmets. Is it the players who vote on their helmets? If not, how are they choosen?

TigerCoach is correct;We had the leaping/flying Tiger on the side (my favorite).

I was told the leaping Tiger, was the 1st decal ever used on a helmet. And
was first used by Strang or Mather.
