It's finally here! The 115th Pittsburgh-Cleveland war...NEXT SUNDAY at Heinz Field, #1 toughest stadium (2001, 2004, 2008)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Steelers are going to hand the Browns a painful defeat like never before! If anyone thought Daunte Richard Culpepper felt the pain from the Pittsburgh Steelers defense at the end of the game...you know the pain Derek Matthew Anderson (or in Tiger2001's case)....Anderception...will be greater!!!!!!!!!! Get ready to taste the pain!!!!!!
Here we go Steelers! Here we go!!!!!!! CRUCIFY CLEVELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. By the way, it's October 11th and you know what? The Pittsburgh Steelers are still world champions (don't forget the Pittsburgh Penguins as Stanley Cup champions too)!!!!!!

anderson probably set a record today with lowest quarterback rating in a WIN. if you combined both those offenses you`d be lucky to score a TD.

I hate to break you...you've mastered the art of using acronyms. But Pittsburgh will have a 20-2 edge since 1999 and a 60-55 edge after the 115th game Sunday afternoon.
You can believe that Michael Pettaway Tomlin will be ready to make his record 5-0 against those Browns and 1-0 against their current head coach.
By the way, it's October 12th and you know what? The Pittsburgh Steelers are still world champions! And the Penguins are still Stanley Cup champions! Pittsburgh, PA: city of champions and the hometown of Dennis Miller!

Keno- If you witnessed that dominating performance on Sunday by the Browns, you're aware the Steelers are in trouble. If not for an unfortunate drop, the Browns would have won by even more points!
The amazing thing about it is that they did it with a QB rating of 15.1. The Mangenius will get under the hood and get the Browns machine firing on all 8 cylinders.

Do you know that the 115th game is in Pittsburgh? And our offense is playing at a high level right now.
Cleveland will be 1-5 after Sunday. Count on it.
P.S. Here's one thing you never knew about me: in the five years I have been on MassillonProud.com, the Steelers are 10-0 against the Browns. That track record will be 11-0.

Sadly, I never thought about that. Michigan is 0-5 against Ohio State...so it's a reversal of fortune there. Pittsburgh, 10-0 against Cleveland, Michigan 0-5 against Ohio State. They have never beaten the Buckeyes since I came on MassillonProud.com.

Hate to disappoint you but after that devastating 2004 AFC championship game loss to New England, Pittsburgh is 8-1 in the playoffs. So many people criticized Hines Ward for crying in what was an emotional loss (it nearly was Jerome Bettis last NFL game) after going 9-0 at home.
Most of it came from Browns fans. And others. But they can't criticize Mr. Ward any more! A Super Bowl XL MVP and a two-time world champion!
It's 9:02 p.m. and Dennis Miller's hometown are still world champions (don't forget the Penguins)! Mike Trivisonno's hometown has nothing on Mr. Miller's hometown! 23 sports titles!!!!!

The Steelers are not as good as they were last year, but the Browns are so pathetic, it won't be close. Maybe Anderson will throw for 23 yards and the Coach will make him the starter for the rest of the year, because he "moves the team". Quinn starts against teams far better than Anderson, yet Anderson is still the starter, because he "led" his team to a great victory over the super bowl bound Bills! I read an article today that said Quinn will miss out on 10 million dollars of contract insentive money if he doesn't take 70% of the snaps this year. I wonder if that played in the choice to bench him or if being benched with that kind of $$ on the line will make him ask for a trade. Anderson has done no better than Quinn has and has played against weaker teams.

Browns gave the Bengals a 5 quarter game . where Bengals only needed 4 with Steelers :poke: D.A. started 2 games and he 1-1 this season . i know it was a ugly win but a W is a W . looking at who each played
Browns
L Minnesota Vikings 5 - 0
L Denver Broncos 5 - 0
L Baltimore Ravens 3 - 2
L Cincinnati Bengals 4 -1
W Buffalo Bills 1 - 4
Steelers
W Tennessee Titans 0 - 5
L Chicago Bears 3 - 1 week 5 bye . with Alanta ...3 -1 could go either way .
L Cincinnati Bengals 4 - 1
W San Diego Chargers 2- 2 week 5 bye . With Denver they would be 2 -3
W Detroit Lions 1 - 4

CarlE,
Why do you want someone to take Mr. Roethlisberger out of the game? A two-time world champion at that? That goes against the principles you imposed on a barred poster when he wanted a standout Warren Harding High School player to "break a leg" and never play football again.
I know you would be hotly peeved if someone wanted to take out your star baseball players and speaking, if you even thought someone wanted to take out one of your all-star players, I know you would take a stand on it.
If I wanted to beat you as a manager, I would want to beat you with your full complement of players, not by taking one of them out just to have an advantage.
Butch Davis ordered Browns players to try and take out Steelers players in 2004 during a home game and it translated into a 24-10 setback at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
If you have to take out another player just to win a game, then that is disappointing.

Congratulations Keno on the Steelers Victory. It was alot closer score that I thought it would be, but a loss is still a lose. Again, Congratulations.
Sometimes I think it would have been best if the Browns would have stayed gone from the NFL than this embarassment the franchise has become. We are in a hole so deep to even break even with losses would take a miracle. This current Browns franchise has run everything that "was" good about the franchise into the ground. This is our 10th anniversary back in the leauge and we haven't shown or done squat. At least the old Browns was half decent. Its like we are a training ground for the up and coming in the NFL before they go to a REAL team except in the case of Tim Couch. At least the Bengals can win. The Curse of Paul Brown Lives!

MTigers006,
It was another Steelers-Browns affair today. I thought Cleveland hit their hardest in the third quarter by coming up with critical turnovers. But I think a 14-0 deficit may have been too much for the Browns to come out of even though they trailed 14-0 (the Steelers need to work on stopping Joshua Cribbs, he has three kick returns for TD's in four years against the Steelers).
Till the 116th contest at Cleveland Browns Stadium.........

FENTON 57,
Let MTigers006 off the hook. He's speaking his mind and everyone speaks their mind on how they feel about things.
Heck, I know he wasn't looking to come off like he did, it just happened that way. I remember a personal experience myself back in 2003 when my Steelers were on their way to a 6-10 season and at the time, they were in a five-game losing streak and for the first time, I wasn't watching what I was saying when I said that I "don't know how much longer I'm going to put up with this losing streak, especially if they keep playing the way they're playing right now."
That shocked the sister tandem of Emily and Lauren...Emily's reaction to me was that I'm "supposed to stay with the Steelers" and that I "should stick with them win or lose!" Followed by Emily's sister Lauren: "You should stick with them win or lose." I wasn't looking for that to happen, it just happened that way because I wasn't watching what I was saying. Then add in Lauren C.: "Keno, you needed a reality check there." (she was right there...with her 5'8'' blonde self.......)...
