First of all, congrats to the Massillon Tigers. I had a great time at the game. There is no better atmosphere than at a Massillon/Canton McKinley game. Both have very good football teams, and it was a fun game to watch. I stopped down at the Massillon store and bought a T-shirt and started talking to employees. They were suprised I drove all the way from Weirton to go to the game but I wouldn't have missed it. Again congrats to the Tigers and good luck throughout the playoffs.

We got up there early so we just decided to go to Hibbett's, and Howard's Tiger Rags, and get something to eat. I yelled go Massillon a few teams to different people from tailgates and they yelled back, but I didn't want to just stop at someone's tailgate I didn't know. Again, good luck throughout the playoffs!

Next time I attend a Massillon game I'll stop over and say hey. How good is Perry and what are your thoughts on this week's game?

WeirFootball,
Perry is coached by 48-year-old former Canton McKinley leader John Miller. His Perry Panthers completed a 9-1 season. He has coached against Massillon four times in his career as head coach and is 16-14 in three years as head cocah of the Fighting Panthers.
This will be the third playoff meeting between the two teams with the series even at 1-1. Massillon hit their peak on the 1999 season by completing a 10-0 regular season with a 35-7 conquest of Canton McKinley, who was ranked #1 in Ohio for most of the 1999 season. However, Massillon's season ended rudely in a 23-6 loss at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium.
Three years later, Massillon extracted venomous revenge in a 23-21 win over the Panthers in the 2002 playoffs when Max Shafer drilled a 35-yard field goal with the wind against him at Fawcett Stadium.
Perry is a very good team with an excellent running game, they are at their toughest in the fourth quarter and are 9-0 when they lead going into the fourth quarter.
No question Massillon will be in the eye of the storm for this game. If it's any consolation, look for them to be on the ultimate high for this game.
Let the battle of Lincoln Way East begin!

Big Fan Van, I stopped over at your van with my girlfriend and two friends but you weren't there. The two bulldog statues in front of the van was cool though.

sorry we missed each other. I went over to the massillon proud tailgate and when i got back my wife told me someone has stopped that she didnt know. guessing it was probably you. the bulldog statue i ended up putting in the truck shortly after i got back. the other one got stolen from a massillon fan. i was going to say something to him but decided against it. i seen him running away so helplessly falling over himself. we were all laughing from inside the truck at that one. he must have been drunk or something. i could have walked faster. hope he has a good time with it though. it was truly a funny sight to see.

I'm sorry your statue got stolen, honestly. I didn't see anyone at your van at all when I was there and I saw where you were tailgating so I just thought you were at another tailgate. Hopefully there will be another Massillon/Canton McKinley game so we can meet up. Good luck to your Bulldogs this week and throughout the playoffs.
