OK, I will be heading back for the challenge. Any word on tickets for this game? I called Michelle at the ticket office last month and she said they would be selling them sometime in august. If anyone has any ideas or would like to pick me up a ticket and one for CarlE, I will pay you at the tailgate.

Talked with Michelle today, didn't know that it was G/A. It would be kinda nice to be in our regular seats, but, this way we will all be on the same side of the stadium. That should be quite impresive.

Game should have the feel of a playoff game !!:tig:

I got my season tickets today and they had a little flyer on the Herbstreit Challenge. The ticket price is 13.00 dollars and they are general admission and that is good for all 3 games. I hear that the people in power are deciding that if you leave the stadium,if you will be allowed to re-enter. I think that you should as you have paid for the games and if you have your stub, you should be able to return. The out of state teams will not bring many people and the more people that are in the stands will look good for Massillon. This will help us to keep getting this kind of event and in most cases, the people who would leave and return would be Massillon fans. So why would they even consider not letting people returned to the games? You would have to find a seat when you returned that might not be as good, but so what. To have to stay and watch all 3 games and not have a choice to return is asinine. GO TIGERS

I certainly hope that they would allow people to re-enter. It can't be that hard to figure out how to use a hand stamp or plastic id bracelet:doh:

Re-entry would surely add to the tailgate possibilities.

Probably the exact reason that they wouldn't let people re-enter!

Talked to the Ticket Office a couple of days ago. I was told that both Herbstreit and Cincy tickets would be available at the Ticket office starting Aug 21. They will also be available at the Stadium during the first two games.

It was suggested that I go down at halftime of the first game and buy tickets to save an extra trip to Massillon (I'm buying mine on the 21st).

Both games are General Admission.

They can't possibly expect you to sit in that stadium for 8 hours !!!!!!!

Kamd50

The only reason they would not allow re-entry is because they would be worried that people could somehow obtain admittance without actually having bought a ticket. But, that is highly unlikely that football fans would attempt to sneak in somehow without paying.

How many of you are going to stay for 8 hours? You have a ticket stub and that is all you should need to re-enter. GO TIGERS BEAT EVERYONE

Kamd50

They probably would not use ticket stubs as re-entry tool, since you could just hand it off to someone who did not originally pay. Most places that allow re-entry these days, use those plastic armbands that you have to cut off your arm so that they cannot be exchanged with others.

:tig: :ers:

It's only 5 hours and 25 minutes until KICK OFF TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is true Kamd50 but if I went to the first game and left in the fourth quarter, there is no way I would be giving my ticket stub to someone else as I would want to see the Tigers . How many of you would miss the Tigers? I also would like to see the second half of the St.Eds games and get a decent seat for our game. I don,t think people will be passing their ticket stub to someone else. Would you? GO TIGERS

Heck No!!! LOL, I am just saying that would probably be their reasoning for not allowing re-entry!:gotigers:

If there is a "no re-entry policy" then my option will be simple. I will simply enter a little while before the Tigers game. I will sit where there is a seat. I like quality football but sitting for eight hours is a bit much. I would gladly wear an armband or hand stamp.

Especially when the alternative is to be sitting out in the parking lot tailgating with friends. This non-reentry policy is for the birds.

The Herbstreit Challenge is the lead topic in Todd Porter's Sunday Special.

In addition to the football, the grounds outside the stadium will be a festival complete with free Sno-Cones, cotton candy, popcorn, games, a climbing rock wall and inflatables. Get your $13 ticket soon before it’s sold out.

“People will be able to go in and out of the stadium with one ticket for all three games,” said Ken Halloy, who is in charge of the games in Massillon and the ones in Cincinnati the same weekend. “It’s a long day at the ballpark.

I think so and think it might have that anyway, regardless of their admission policy.

I think if we have to, we'll buy 3 tickets each so we can re-enter. Hopefully this will not be the case. (Idea thanks to Dawgh8r)
