Looks like they had a nice season. How did the last game result in a tie? What are the rules at that level......?

Sorry, it must have been Eds (Tig62 gave me an account of this game earlier in the year). Was it McKinley Freshmen over Ed's 62?

Chronic,

I'm not sure why the Erie Prep team finished in a tie.

The Ignatius frosh had a nice season but overall injuries to some very good young players really affected some progress.

Good luck against Mckinley!!!

Bigtime,

No problem.

I think Mckinley did beat St Edward in week one or so of the frosh season.

Good luck to Massillon tomorrow!!!

This same 9th grade bulldog squad WAXED St Eds early in the season.

If by "WAXED" you mean a close faught game in week 1 30-22, then yes, the Bulldogs "WAXED" St. Ed's.

BTW, that same Ignatius freshmen team that WAXED Massillon was beat by those same St. Ed's freshmen. The lesson, as always, is freshmen football is unpredictable.

Good luck against the Pups on Saturday.

Boy, I'll say. We got "waxed" by Wadsworth which is an extremely depressing thought. Of course we had several starters out.

I will take it for what it is though - a nice win over pups always works for me!

I agree, freshman football is unpredictable. At the beginning of the year McK was maybe better than they are now due to players being moved up to J.V. or varsity. that will take away from the freshman chemistry. I think we had 3 players go to the jv squad and i know for sure we have a freshman that moved up to varsity cause he is a starter. based on that, frosh = unpredictable.

BigTime, it was St. Edward; and from what I remember(considering my age), the Bulldogs looked really good against a good Eagle team.
One other comment, the Tiger's Freshman team has greatly improved since I saw them play their first game.
