What is the story about Cross the Mck coach talking trash about Massillon in the St X locker room last year at the title game? Fact or internet rumor? This is the first I have heard/read about it, yes it came from Yappi so I know that track record but it was from a St X kid/fan who was also in the locker room at the time:furious: ....

Does he have connections to St X that he would even be in the locker room?

Also, I guess I couldnt blame him, we did put the smack down on him and the pups when it counted....

You obviously went to yappi and read the post, makes you wonder what motive a St X kid would have to make it up if it wasnt true, especially since the weight room is right there with the new locker room as they said.

Doesn't sound like something Cross would do. Why would anyone listen to him anyway? His team was eliminated from contention by the Tigers 24-3 two week prior!

FWIW... it would have given McK more "braging rights" to say they split 2 games with the '05 State Champion Massillon Tigers... than the scenario that did come to pass.

I don't know Coach Cross... but that story seems to be a bunch of bull-dog droppings.

I know Coach Cross and I would be very suprised if he did anything like that. I actually wish he would go to another school so I could root for him becuase he is a great guy that has put up with A LOT of crap over there, especially at first. He is truly a class act as a person no matter who he coaches.

I agree, he is a class person, unlike his predecessor, Kerry Hodackavic (sp?). Most of the trash talk is from the trash Mck boosters and fans.

i don't know who this kid heard talking trash about massillon or if he heard anyone, but there is no way it was coach cross. he has way too much class for that.
