Kobe puts up LBJ numbers and actually has a complete game and you have to make a post to let us know?

Cavs fans are used to a possible triple double in every game they play. The only thing that seperates the 2 right now is supporting casts.

Congrats to Kobe for putting up numbers nobody is acustomed to.

LOL, you had to know that was coming, Monte, pnthrfn just beat me to it:wink:

yes, we all know he isn't the only one, but he is the one that got caught with his pants down. For my money, I can much more easily forgive a player for not doing the proper thing in the heat of a disappointing moment, aka Lebron not shaking hands, than someone who deliberately sought out and thought out their own inexcusable actions.

I suspect you've taken another shot at a world champion whose name isn't to be spoken in your household. Not a big deal......quite the mom raised with heralded Italian Catholic roots as you are.

Kobe was held accountable for his actions in a court of law and has done a lot of good in his life both on and off the court. He made a terrible mistake but he was never,I repeat never convicted of rape. How many human beings go thru their life without making a bad mistake or doing something for which they regret?
You all don`t even know the man but you want to crucify him for 1 wrong action he took.God has forgiven Kobe and Kobe is raising his family and providing for them, which is more than I can say for a lot of african-american fathers.
We are all sinners.......every one of you who post on here has sinned. Some of you would cringe if all your sins were put up in the public spotlight for all to see.Who are you to say any one of us is better than anybody else?We all make mistakes. They do not define who we are but it is the way we treat people our entire life that make up our judgement in Gods eyes.
Judge not or you shall be judged.Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.Look in the mirror and judge yourself for there is a sinner looking back at you.It is so Easy to judge another person, without even knowing them but the Hard part is taking a good look at yourself and judging your own mistakes.

Just a comment...IF he did do what he was accused of, it was NOT a horrible mistake. It was a horrific act that takes a horribly despicable, evil, twisted mind to commit. You should read the police report if you haven't already (the Smoking Gun may still have them on there).

I have to side with #7 proud parent on this one. Bryant was never convicted and his accuser was never heard from again after that whole ordeal.

Tiger2001,

Does that make you better than the 30-year-old father of two daughters? I do know this: He has something we all don't have.........

Paul Eugene Brown,

My kids...getting a free pass? That would be strange. I could see it now, Pittsburgh playboy at work......

In Miss Carla Eisenbrei's (a distant relative of CarlE) class...

"Miss Eisenbrei, my son made a big mistake to be five minutes late to your biology class. But listen to me. You're his biggest fan. I have six tickets to the Steelers game and there is one in a special suite waiting for you at Heinz Field if you take the tardy off of Rasheed's record. I promise you he'll never come that late to your class again."

The pretty 27-year-old single teacher took a hard look in my eyes before coming to terms. "This is a big game for the Steelers after all. But CarlE would kill me if I took your terms. I'll keep this between you and me. Tell you what...you give me the ticket and I'll wipe the tardy away from his record. You owe me a dinner when I come to the Massillon Car Show in June. Deal?"

Once again, the Pittsburgh playboy saves his son from discipline!

First of all.....If I wanted to listen to a sermon , I would go to Church. Secondly, Kobe Bryant does not only have to answer to God , but he will also have to answer to his little girls when they get older. You see, taking care of children's monetary needs, you're right, is important, but to me what is even more important is setting a good example for them, and he pretty much blew that ...did he not?

So, go ahead quote scripture all day long if you would like, but at the end of the day, the man is still a PIG.....oh yeah, and a poor excuse for a husband, father, role model, ...I could go on and on.

You confusing adultry with rape! No conviction and NO TRIAL! If the woman was so sure Kobe raped her then why nor pursue the case????? WHY?? Because it was all about the cash for sure and you and others on here know it. Kobe made a mistake and got screwed by name recognition because he was a star athlete. Was he wrong for cheating--yes, a rapist--NO!

However, Kobe did have a bad game 3 last night!!! 5 free throws and some missed 3's at the end that could of tied the game. Still no problem--I always thought Orlando would win 2 out of 3 at home and lose the series 4-2.

Sternrulz and Dawg----- I love LBJ as a player and businessman. I never stated that I didn't like his basketball skill or the Cavs in general. I have been going to watch him since AAU 8th grade!!!! You can thank Stan Van Gundy for that. Van Gundy knew LeBron James' every move and that showed in the conference finals. It gave Van Gundy some assets to use in the remaining games against the Cavs. Let's not forget Orlando has won nine of the last 10 against Cleveland in Orlando.

Van Gundy has basketball smarts. He's come a long way since my Detroit Pistons snuffed out his 2005 Miami Heat team in the Eastern Conference Finals (winning game 7 at home)!

Keno---- Van Gundy had nothing to do with Cleveland shooting terrible from the field(minus LBJ) the entire series and the interior front also played weak!

In sports--- the only way a coach can pinpoint actual numbers and stats is if the game(s) are fixed!!

LBJ averaged 38pts, 8 assists, and 7 boards against the Magic---they had no answer for Lebron in the series. It was his supporting cast that let him down!!

Oh--- Van Gundy better find a way to slow down LA! They shot great in game 3 and narrowly escaped with a win! They are in trouble if LA pulls out 1 win in Orlando! Maybe tonight the fat lady might start warming up the Mic!!LOL

In case you haven't noticed, there is a pattern here.

Keno automatically blindly defends any person who has made accomplishments in life---if they are black.

The mayor of Detroit and Michael Jackson are two that come immediately to mind.

When the Black community is in such desparate need of positive role models, you would think that he would be outraged at people like this.

But he isn't. He defends them.

Kobe Bryant is the hardest working player in the NBA.He is also,a world champion and an Olympic Gold Medal Winner. He makes everyone around him better and he has a loving and supportive family backing him.Kobe is a special human being and a great athlete.God loves Kobe Bryant just as much as he loves the racists and bigots on here who think they are better than everyone else.

I believe God loves a lot of sinners.Maybe some you are perfect but I have a hard time believing that any human being is perfect.God knows what is in a persons heart and if you are sorry for the wrong things you have done and you do a lot of good in your life otherwise I believe that God does not judge you as a piece of S..T,like some of you,on here choose to do.

#7 proud parent,

Take my word for it. You won't hear another word of his so-called-infidelity once he wins his fourth NBA title.

Far as racists, I don't make anything of them nor do I care for them. Racism has no bearing on today's society, I don't care who a person is. That's like a former poster on the old MassillonProud.com that said Kamd50 was a racist and you know what her reaction was to that: "You know...I hate that racist ****." Bighitter was barred permanently after that.

Yes I'll get yelled at by her sometimes but does she do it because I'm black and she's white? No. Would CarlE disagree with monte81 because he's white and monte81 is black? No.

This is not the place for racism and if anyone (not that anyone has) has any thoughts of spreading such, take it to five other websites that put up with that stuff. But not here.

I might have Sister Tina pray for such persons......

So-called -infidelity? He admitted to it....did he not? You are basically saying that if he wins his fourth NBA title, the slate will be wiped clean on his past record and people will forgive and forget? OMG.......

pnthrfan,

Let's get one thing straight. Kobe Bryant is no better than you are and you're no better than Mr. Bryant. We are all humans in this world. No one expected Bryant to make it through life sin free...though it would be nice to make it through life without committing a sin but we haven't.

But we are forgiven for our transgressions. We are not made to be perfect...but we sure can lead the proper life as Mr. Bryant is doing now with his wife and two daughters while learning from his mistake.

Yeah.....I'm pretty sure i'm better than Kobe Bryant. I haven't slept with another man while married to my husband, of 20 years. I haven't brought shame to my family like he has. I have dedicated my life to my husband and children by being the best Wife and Mother I can possibly be. I take pride in what I have done with my life.
Sure Kobe has won titles, medals, and millions and millions of dollars, but when it's all said and done, at the end of the day, he is still a poor excuse for a Husband AND a Father. So, yep. I am better then he is!!

Keno---are you sure you are a Muslim? You sound like maybe when you walk by Christian churches that some of the holy vapor is wafting out and entering you through osmosis or something.

But, no matter what I truly admire your ability to let everything roll off.
It would be nice if we could all learn some of that from you.

CarlE,

Kobe Bryant can never be criticized again. Winning one without Shaquille O'Neal is just what he needed! Oh, and I can do without the dead stripper Paul Brown (thank you very much)...

people should not be saying that he can't win one without shaq anymore. BUT {big but} as far as getting a pass for his other actions NO. I don't like people who commit adultry. they are scum and maybe god will forgive him but that is one of his ten commandments.when you have wife/kids and cheat how is that setting a good example for your kids to follow. kobe's action's were not thought through and he is paying for it with ridicule. when you think with your other part it can lead to many bad things happening.
