I would like to express of BIG THANK YOU to those who attended and supported 'An Evening At The Lincoln' , the benefit fundraiser for the Easter Sunday fire victims. From a 'Heart Moving' musical selection from Joy Lewis
of the St. James AME Zion Choir..to the wonderful dancing and drumming from both The Ananda Center and the Raja Belly Dancers..To the great swing jazz from the Washington High School Jazz Band, to the soulful blues from
Lincoln Street and ofcourse, the great oldies from ReUnited. The entire night wouldn't have been possible without the evenings hosts, my broadcast partner Todd Bentzel and THE Rudy Turkal. It was a remarkable evening where everyone came together for this special cause.
I would also like to thank Lynda Blankenship along with the Lincoln Classic Film Club for their work on this event. After the art auction money is submitted, we're projecting between $1.500.00 and $1.800.00 in proceeds.
Once again. I thank all of those who were a part of this special night.
GOOOOOOO TIGERS !!!!!!
