Monday night at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, Massillon JV's ran their record to 6-1 with a 27-12 win over Warren Harding High School. The Tigers were led by backs Chris Thornton and Justin Turner as Thornton had 55 yards rushing while Turner had 78 yards...each had TD's.
I will say that I liked head coach Brian Pachis mantra of smashing the ball at them early with the powerful Thornton as that loosened up the Warren defense for the speedy Turner.
Jeff Falkner has really filled the void left by Jason Jarvis (Lexington) and the defense held Warren scoreless for 3 1/2 quarters.
