No, not the one that should be out. Offensive coordinator Jim Fassel has been released by the Ravens. Even though Brian Billick has had his hand in the offensive decision making from day one, and is a self proclaimed offensive genious, he's staying and his scapegoat is going!
I still can't believe this guy has a Super bowl ring. That team had ZERO offense and still won it all

I don't like Billick. This stems from the incident in 1999 where Billick, someone with no previous NFL head coaching experience, determined the Browns were not good enough for him and went to the hated Ravens. The Browns, who had the deal nearly finalized, were left with egg on their faces and issued this weak spin control statement.

"After having the opportunity to speak further following yesterday's NFC championship game, we have come to the realization that we have significant philosophical differences related to the opportunities available in our expansion situation," Policy said. "It is our decision to move forward with our head coaching search without Brian Billick being part of that consideration."

Maybe it's his arrogance I don't like. He said:
"I'm just arrogant enough to think we're going to be pretty good this year."
Who says that?

Billick and Fassel were supposed to be "cut from the same cloth."

There has been a lot of pressure in Baltimore to go in a new direction without Billick. By releasing Fassel, it takes a little of the heat off the head coach.
