Help send MTown to "THE GAME"!

Those of you who know me either in real life or just through this site, know that I am a DIEHARD Ohio State fan. I went to OSU, marched in TBDBITL, and just live and die with the Scarlet and Gray. With Ohio State being ranked #1 and Michigan undefeated and climbing towards the #2 ranking, November 18th is shaping up to be the most anticipated OSU/UM game EVER.

I HAVE TO BE THERE!

There is one problem. I do not have a ticket. The way it looks now, it's gonna take about $500 to get into this game. I consider myself a rational person...I just cannot justify taking that kind of money out of my paycheck to watch a football game. But I know I will kick myself forever if I don't go. I have to be in that stadium!

Therefore I am starting the MTown to CBus Fundraiser.

The Goal... $500

The Dream... Ohio State / Michigan

The Deadline...November 18th, 2006

I have tricked my mind into believing I can justify spending that kind of money for a football ticket if the money can be made on the side. SO..... I am now for hire! If you have odd jobs that need to get done...I will do them.

Don't want to rake leaves? Call me

Don't want to mow the grass? Call me

Need to clean out the garage? Call me

Wash your car? Call me

Laundry? Dishes? Taking out the trash?

I have 31 days to make this happen! I need your help. I don't want donations...there are more important causes for your charity. But if you need something done and don't mind shelling out a little $$$ to the "needy"...let me know.

Send me a PM here!
Send me an email... benxrow2002@yahoo.com

For those who don't know him, he truly is a HUGE Ohio State fan. Had I seen this post earlier, I would have asked Jim Houston to hook you up!

Here's another site that gives you an idea just what the going price is for Ohio State games.

http://www.stubhub.com/ohio-state-football-tickets/

Unfortunately it is all about supply and demand. Where there is a willing buyer, there is a seller.

The most $$$ tickets on that website are a pair of nose bleed tickets!! :eek2:

So does anyone have any actual "jobs" for this guy?

I think I do. I have a stairway and living room needing fresh paint.

I told Mrs Obiefan and she is down with that. So once I get a "for sure", I'll be calling him up!

OSU Alumni tickets are like going to a titty-bar. What a tease. $55 for a bad seat to a bad game.

I had my day as a student, getting the "GOOD" tickets as a senior. Ah, those were the days... when Woody was coach.

My wife RSVP'd us for a wedding at the same time as THE GAME

As a lifelong fan, two-time grad, and former Athletic Dept. employee I find this to be an absolute travesty.

Isn't that the definition of "Irreconcilable differences?"

I'm not a lawyer but it sounds like it to me.

You don't go to weddings on the same day as Ohio State/Michigan. And when the bride-to-be gets pissed and says "you're ruining my special day!"...you tell her BS..."You're ruining MY special day".

What were they thinking scheduling it on that day!? There had better at least be a TV at the reception or there will be disappointment over the attendance.

MTown, I'd help you out but I'm a little cash-strapped at the moment.
