They blew a 23-3 lead in about the worst imaginable way. It included a Bears fumble return for a TD, a punt return for a TD and a missed Arizona field goal. I've been a Cleveland fan all my life. Cardinals fans, I feel your pain.

that was pure crap. the bears were lucky. they would lose against a better team if they were down like that.:sour:

No one will argue they were lucky. The Cards simply did not finish. That's the third game they've blown (that they should've won) this season. I guess if they're looking for a positive, Leinart played tough.

Dennis Green is having a meltdown right now on ESPN.

Longtimefirsttime,

Dennis Green didn't get it done in the last quarter. It's almost like 15-1 Minnesota losing the 1998 NFC championship at home to 14-2 Atlanta...he lost a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Speaking of Atlanta...take my world champion Pittsburgh Steelers over the birds of prey.

Dennis Green didn't play. Dennis Green didn't fumble and miss Hester three times on his punt return.

By the way, Atlanta in a laugher over Pittspuke.

A few of those plays looked hauntingly like our game Saturday night. The Cards beat them in every phase excepting turnovers.

I did think that Green called it way too conservatively after a couple of those fumble recoveries in the first half. As crappy as that team has been, they needed to roll the dice a little and see if they could really put it to the Bears and take them out early. Two runs up the middle and then a pass on third down after they had burned them on passes earlier just did not cut it.

CarlE,

Atlanta in a laugher over World Champion Pittsburgh? I'm madder than Tiger Silverthorn snapping at a kid in his world history class at that school in the city of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Oh...and I will be a little fired up for this game...the last meeting ended in 2002, a 34-34 tie in the World Champion city of Pittsburgh, PA (Dennis Miller's birth place...11/3/1953) and the referees SCREWED my Steelers when Plaxico Burress caught Tommy Maddox's Hail Mary and had the ball over the plane and two feet in the end zone...one of the refs said he was down at the 1 yard line...it was a blatant call!

The World Champion Steelers are looking forcefully scary right now and the Falcons are looking meek after a loss to the NY Giants. I believe in the hometown of Dennis Miller and his teachings and it will be MILLER TIME on Sunday!

World Champion Steelers 34-14...the Steelers have won three straight games in a dome and Ed Donatell isn't the defensive genius compared to Dick LeBeau.

FYI......Dennis Green has a problem of not finishing when it counts. Too bad his picture isn't on the cover of NFL head coach like that of Steelers head coach and world champion Bill Cowher, a picture that my main sweetheart Lauren B. admires (I'm starting to settle down now, can you believe it).

The "drive-time" radio shows were having a field day with Dennis Green's meltdown, especially the "we let 'em off the hook" part - it's so sad it's funny.

TigerswillbeTigers,

It's all part of how I dress on game nights. By the way, I'm seriously thinking about attending next Saturday's week 10 battle in all black (seriously). And I might wear a dress hat on top of that.

If I am dressed in all black......Massillon fans saw it first!
