View Full Version : Massillon Firefighters will be at the Warren game collecting for MDA

Wasn't sure if this was right for TTT so I'm putting it here....

Myself and 3 or 4 other Massillon Firefighters, along with our fellow Warren Firefighters, will be in Warren, at the stadium prior to the game doing a "Fill the Boot" collecting for MDA.

Along with being for a good cause, it is also kind of a friendly competition that we started with Warren FD when this great rivalry between our two teams was renewed. We will be in full fire gear with a Fire Boot in hand, asking that you give as generously as you can. Any firefighter there will be happy to take your donation, but for all you Massillon folk making the trek to Mollenkopf, if you are kind enough to donate, please try to give to one of your hometown Firefighters (that would be Massillon FD LOL), as there is a plaque and bragging rights for the next year at stake. (Yes WE do currently have the plaque.....Help us keep it and beat Warren TWICE in one night! Thanks for listening.....Go Tigers!

Wish I'd have known about it earlier Wan....I would have given the good old EPA a call.....Unless they got a special permit for a bonfire that size (which I highly doubt) that thing is way bigger than regulations allow.......Same reason why our Massillon-McKinley bonfires are no longer as big as they used to be. But hey, if they can get away with it, more power to them. Maybe we can burn their namesake next year. What does a RAAAAIIIIIIDDDDEEEERRRR!!!!! Look like? LOL

LTFT I'm not sure. I'll have to ask the Warren guys Saturday night and see if they know. If there are, maybe they'll be collecting at the game.
