An article about McDaniels "focusing on right now."

Their roster.

Coach McDaniels and Dan Herron talk about the team's 14-0 win over Ursuline (two weeks ago).

In their paper, ten of their "prognosticators" pick Warren and two take Massillon (not a big surprise).

If 81 passing yards/game represents an offensive turnaround, they must have really stunk before. :poke:
If you look even more closely, the article focuses on the offensive productivity the last 3 weeks. Hmmm.... One of those games was against 0-7 Youngstown Wilson. Not too sure that's an accurate barometer of anything. The next week they scored they scored 14 on a so-so Ursuline team. By way of comparison, Central scored 20 against Ursuline the following Friday. Finally, while it's true that they beat Ignatius, they had 139 yards passing and Herron had less than 100 yards rushing. I don't know how much productivity they got from anyone else, but that does not sound like an offensive juggernaut.
Iin other words, I'm not too sure that the thrust of the article is consistent with the facts.

Obie Wan,
Harding didn't neet a lot of offense to beat Ignatius, because we stunk up the joint last week. Credit the Raiders for shutting down the 'Cats. The final score could have/should have been worse.
