We will be marching in the McKinley Parade again this year. It will be Friday October 27th. We will meet at the band practice field at 6pm. There is a school bus lined up to take us down to the parade and will bring us back afterward. You can also meet us downtown at the parking lot on the corner of 3rd and Oak. This is right beside the ticket office.
After the parade you are invited to join us for a some social time at the Armory. The picture and video orders from the band show will be given out then.
Please let me know if you plan to attend and if you need an instrument.

TUBA PLAYERS~~~We only have 5 tubas available to use in the parade so they will go to the first 5 that RSVP.

Maybe this year I will get a complete Tuba that I can actually play?

(Just funnin' last year they brought the wrong piece for mine so I had to "engineer" it using a rubber hose and some tape.)

I'm in, tuba 2 of 5. I have a mouthpiece but will need neck and bits.

Re alumni in McK parade... How many were in it last year? I was there with my son (then 9 years old), and couldn't believe how LONG it was! That was great! (I'm in Cleveland now) AD (fastmail500@yahoo.com)

I'm listening to Radio Massillon via internet, and Tigers just scored from an interception! Go Tigers, right now 35-0 (at 8:50pm).

I just heard on WHBC (Friday 4:20pm) that the McK Parade and bonfire has been cancelled tonight. What wimps!!!

My friend who lives down by the old H.S. says that people with cars and whatnot in the parade are lining up right now, so I don't know if it is cancelled or if some smart alex from Canton is messing with us (WHBC or a caller)

BTW, make sure that isn't the Canton parade/bonfire/rally that is cancelled. I cannot remember the BEAT MCK parade ever being cancelled.

Spize... It's the McKinley- "Beat Massillon" parade that's cancelled... This is not uncommon...
