This is a fantastic choice for Andrew!! PSU is a great linebacker school. He will have the chance to learn from one of the very best linebacker coaches in the country in Ron Vanderlinden. He will also be able to spend one full season learning from Dan Connor. This is a great opportunity for Andrew and I wish him the best!!:drinkem:

Great choice for A. Daily. This is the best fit for him to develop and he definiteky has the talent to play there. I hope to see some big things from him well past this season. His work ethic will be liked and respected at PSU!!!

Congratulations and good luck Andrew. The Tiger faithful are happy for you:thumbsup: I am glad that this decision has been made and gives him time to focus on Massillon football now instead of having to make a decision about what college to choose weighing on his mind.

Congrats to Andrew, it's probably nice to get this out of the way so he can concentrate on his senior year.
I remember his Dad as a hard hitting DB for Perry in 1974. A chip off the old block!
I root for all the local boys in college, except when they play the Buckeyes!

This didn't come as a surprise to me. OSU waited way to long and I don't even know how serious their talks with him were. ND also was taking much too long and I know there were rumors that he wanted to go there, but I just don't think they were very far along in the recruiting process. Penn State got their offer out very early, and heck - what an honor to be recruited to play LB at Penn State...aka..."Linebacker U."

Awesome Andrew! Now follow through and have a safe, but SWEET senior season!

A.D. to Penn State is great. All the talk about Notre Dame and OSU is garbage because he qualified academiclly months ago with the ACT and his core GPA is around 3.0! Penn State just gained a blue chipper and the loss is in south bend and columbus!!!! One down and alot more athletes at Massillon for Stacy to push into school. Like I said great choice and I hope he makes them pay for not offering him sooner!

That should answer the ND and OSU questions.

Thanks for the article kamd50. Yes it clears it up. It truly looks like Penn State will be a great fit. It was also good to see an article from Altoona. Remember when the Tigers played them?

Congrats, Andrew, that's a great accomplishment! I agree with those of you who say keep the negativity somewhere else, that's just stupid! There are only 4500-5000 Division I scholarships offered each year out of Millions of high school kids who play. To get one is special, good job, Andrew!

Great post tiger coach. Alot of people would not even imagine the politics and negotiating that goes on in those schlarship offers. Obtaining a college degree is the most important thing anyway for our kids. DI or whatever as long as football and guidence leads them to become productive educated citizens.

Dailey will be an asset to Joe Paterno's defense once he gets to Happy Valley. That makes Dailey the fifth Tigers player since 1997 to commit/play for a Big Ten school (Christian Morgan, OSU [1997], Justin Zwick, OSU [2002-present], Devin Jordan, OSU [2003-present], and Shawn Crable, Michigan [2003-present]).

As of right now, he is a sturdy 6'3'', 225 lb. player. With the pressure of colleges off his back, he can now turn his sights on leading the 2005 Tigers this season. The only thing he has to do is guard himself against injury and other than that, he should have a stellar season.

I last saw Morgan two years ago in the Massillon area. That's as far as I'll take it. Because of the rules forbidding certain material, if you want to know more, email me at SteelersXLchamps_fiveworldtitles@yahoo.com.

I can tell you more.
