View Full Version : OSU vs Meatchicken: another joke...

Is it EVER too early (or too late?) for the OSU vs Muttshigan jokes?
****
On a tour of Florida, the Pope took a couple of days off to visit the coast for some sightseeing. He was cruising along the beach in the Popemobile when there was a frantic commotion just off shore. A helpless man, wearing a Michigan jersey, was struggling frantically to free himself from the jaws of a 25-foot shark.

As the Pope watched, horrified, a speedboat came racing up with three men wearing Ohio State jerseys aboard. One quickly fired a harpoon into the shark's side. The other two reached out and pulled the bleeding, semi-conscious Wolverine fan from the water. Then using (autographed by Woody himself) baseball bats, the three heroes in OSU Red beat the shark to death and hauled it into the boat.

Immediately the Pope shouted and summoned them to the beach. "I give you my blessing for your brave actions," he told them. "I heard that there was some bitter hatred between Buckeye and Michigan fans, but now I have seen with my own eyes that this is not the truth."

As the Pope drove off, the harpooner asked his buddies "Who was that?" "It was the Pope," one replied. "He is in direct contact with God and has access to all of God's wisdom."

"Well," the harpooner said, "he may have access to God's wisdom, but he doesn't know anything about shark fishing.... how's the bait holding up?"

You all won't be laughing when Michigan leaves Columbus with a Big Ten title. Enjoy your wins of 37-21 and 25-21 but come November, there will be a changing of the guard.

Keno, you barked that same garbage last year too, and what happened? I seem to remember you doubled over in your chair with a dozen or so OSU fans jumping around you.

You have to face it, right now Ohio State owns Michigan, and until the recruiting wars change and the coaches change, the results will stay the same.

Yep, that's right, OSUcks will never lose to UM again. PLEASE!

I never said it would last forever. I did say that until the coaching matchups change and the recruiting wars change, the results will continue.

Don't worry, "4 loss" Lloyd might only have one more Michigan/OSU game in him before the axe comes. Then the new guy will have a shot to turn this around. Believe me, after all the grief we took about Cooper and the 2-10-1, I savor every tidbit of Michigan angst I can get my hands on.

MTown,

Michigan's defense sucked total wind on that last drive that took four minutes off the clock. Jim Herrmann's defense failed badly to hold a 21-18 lead late...what can I say.

And Gonzalez making that catch? On his shoulder? Nine times out of 10 he wouldn't make that catch...the only time he did...well...let's say he had divine intervention on his side.

Michigan will be better conditioned this time when the game is in Columbus. They can't be worn down like they were in the last two losses. No way Carr loses three in a row to Ohio State...not when his back is at the wall!

I'm lucky that my college friends Michael, Brian, Kurt, or Lindsay haven't seen that picture...that would have devastating results (just be glad it wasn't me in my black pinstriped suit...that would have been too much)!

Is it a "forceful heat" or does it "lead by intimidation" ? I haven't made my mind up yet. It's hard to "focus" when it's this hot. However it should be cooler later in the week, after the "eye of the storm" passes.

See this link. I don't think you all will be gloating when Manningham and Michigan turn around the tables in November against the Buckeyes.

Michigan is at their most dangerous when their back is at the wall. I can promise you they will come out swinging and you all can kiss OSU's two-game winning streak against Michigan goodbye!

This is off topic, but I do have to say this. I am getting tired of seeing this name "MUCSteelers5xSuperChamp."

What else can go wrong for the Browns?

Maybe we all need to change our screen names to something about the Buckeyes just for him.

Just messing with ya. I guess having the Browns back so long and seeing so little progress is just getting frustrating.

austinsm11,

I'm a devout Pittsburgh and Michigan fan! My classmate Brian Engelhardt could tell you more about me and how I was the top Steelers fan!! Too bad Michigan was 1-4 against OSU during my five years on campus.

Sheesh...that was the only low point of my Mount Union days and last year's 25-21 OSU win didn't help matters. The only low Steelers point at MUC...need I say their 33-13 loss at Heinz Field to Cleveland? I darn near wanted to put a gun to my head during that 6-10 2003 season after that one game!
