I certainly would question one or two of the names on the list at this point in time as being a top player at their position given the plays I've watched. (NO NAMES).

I also think BG should be considered as a RB possibly on that list (imagine the yards he would have if he had a hole to run thru)

I understand your point. However five players don't make a team. It's time for the "supporting cast" to step up.

My point is more how rediculous these ratings are rather than how the Tigers are underachieving.

Case in point: Herring has 33 carries this year. That's fewer than 5 per game. That seems an awfully thin resume upon which to make an evalution - for good or bad.

Equally suspect, there's still at least a third of the season left. It's a little early to get a true measure of these players.

Those list means nothing as far as production!! Eugene Clifford (Colerain) is by far the best player in the state!(OSU, Michigan, FSU, Florida,etc,... has offered)
#2 Brian Gamble-- production on both sides of the ball make him get that spot!!
#3 Devon Torrence-- great athlete and grades to match!!
We will see haw many of those players qualify academiclly for a DI schlarship--many have not and that is a problem for athletes!! All talent and no classroom effort- it will be sad to see some of those talented players be wotking at Wal Mart next year! Students-Athletes take your academics seriously!!!!!!

I believe that #9 Dorie Irvin is the best junior prospect on the team! Very underrated player who noone expected to have this nice of a season but maybe himself!!!

i find it very hard to believe that we have the #1 linebacker in the state. if he had been used more effectively on D maybe we WOULD have the #1 LB in ohio.

obie0130, we need to move around said linebacker more. he needs to be playing some inside backer. thats just my opinion. so inlite of this I agree with you obie0130.

I agree w/ both of you....think we need to put our players in the best position to make plays cause Im tired of seeing blitzes from the outside every other play that arent effective. I also saw a couple missed open field tackles that really concerned me, doesnt matter where on the field you are that is just ugly.

obie0130

agreed 1600. the outside blitzes were repeatedly beaten with plays right up the middle. we over-persued almost every time.

If it doesnt happen either before or during week 10 it is going to be deja-vu all over again from last year week 10.

Anybody watch Michigan play!! English(D Coordinator) moves crable and burgess around from outside/inside to prevent teams from scheming away from their strengths! Daily would be alot more effective if we used him in somewhat the same way! Teams will not just run plays and challange him directly and him being on the outside(every play) he cannot run down plays from the backside consistantly! Inside blitzs and scemes will help slow down inside running ability of teams! Our safeties cannot continue to play 4-5 yards off the ball come playoff time!! One seem or breakdown and the Rb will be gone! This is what killed us against Iggy and mentor!

Guess thats why hes the D Coordinator at what should be the #2 ranked team in the nation...........
