Tonight wasn't exactly like 2002 in Warren (that was a GREAT game!), but your Tigers came to play. You guys put your foot on the gas and didn't look back. WGH didn't make things easy for you guys, but you took advantage of every opportunity that you had tonight. Turner was awesome for you guys and your defense smacked us in the mouth. I was also impressed with Bo Grunder.

Congratulations to the Massillon community. I hope that this win leads to bigger and better things for you guys this season.

Congrats!! Turner looked like a man among boys. Glad he's going Up North!! That's about the only bright spot of my day.

Anyway, I hope Massillon wins their remaing games and stay away from those darn parochials!!

Everybody we came across was real nice, even down to the guy taking our money for parking. Has changed quite a bit since the last time we went to Warren to see a game. Good Luck to you on the next two games!!

It was a great game and I am so happy we won, but I have to say I was feeling a little bad for Warren. They had to play us right after Iggy and we know how bad we felt from that game. I want Warren to do well because they really are like us and I hope they have a good end to their season. The stands were much better and the school looks beautiful. Great game Tigers- thanks for a really fun night!!! Someone else said we hadn't won there for 20 years- is that true?? If so- that's amazing.

Congrats Tigers!

This game does nothing to prove your point. This is a decent Warren team, not a great team like Iggy.

Thank you, Warren1st and Worm02. The atmosphere was a bit friendlier, although that might have been because the Tiger D kept "Shaft" quiet for most of the night! Warren looks quite improved from '07- who do you have coming back next year?

Good luck the rest of the season and I hope you go 9-1 in '09!

By the way, did you say that they were keeping the front of the old HS? What will they do with it (and when are they planning to clear the rubble out?)? It doesn't look like they have wireless installed yet in there (In fact, at least from the back, it looks like it would be an excellent haunted house this year!). The new school looks great, though!!

It had been 22 years since our last win there!

Some of our fans are so negative. We just won a big game and some people focus on we haven't won in Warren in over 20 years!!! The two teams just started playing again in 2002!!!!!!!!!!!!!:wall::wall:

I don't see why you think they are being negative. I think that everyone is happy that the streak at Warren has been broken, no matter when games with them resumed.

Getting the W is the main thing. Breaking the streak was just icing on the cake.

Congratulation to the team and coaches for a victory over a very athletic Warren team; IMHO this was a must win, confidence building game that was needed going into the home stretch. Mollenkopf stadium looks great; the enhancements have definitely paid-off. :thanx:

Warren is a good team. they lost to Massillon, Iggy, Ursuline and mooney and could possibly lose to walsh. Those are 5 games even a great great team would struggle with this year.
a week ago we were barely good enough to compete with jackson according to most posters on here.:jestera:
You guys live to much week to week or in the past. You guys never focus on the overall. There probably isn't any team in the state who can beat iggy with the way they are playing right now. no not even glenville.

I told many of you in pm's or outright that we would beat warren like we did and we would have a good shot this week against mentor(also a team that many of you want to hide from). i guess we'll see

He's a great talent and a class act. I think RR is fortunate that JT wants to be a Wolverine and most likely will be no matter what happens between now and signing day. It'll be interesting to see how many early commits stick with UM after the season is over.

both teams were destroyed by iggie.

it as a nice win against a team that would finish 4th in the federal league.
