I missed getting the paper yesterday but I heard it had an ad for the 2008 Mass Mck Blood Battle. Anyone recall when and where? Thanks

I just saw the signs up in front of St Paul's Lutheran Church, across from St Marys. I'll check the times next time I drive by.

Hope everyone who can donate gets down there and gives it up for the Tigers (and those who need it).

Someone at work today told me about a friend (giving for Mck) who has already donated.

From yesterday's Rep:

Massillon HS Auxillary Gym
Friday, October 17th
7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

You can also give at one of Aultman's donor rooms October 20-24. Aultman West hours are 8:30 a.m - 6:00 p.m.

Donors receive a free T-shirt and a sandwich coupon from Chick-fil-a.

McKinley HS lobby
Monday Ocotber 20th
9:00 a.m - 2p.m.

I believe in past years we donated to the Red Cross. Are they both(Aultman and Red Cross) having Massillon Mck blood drives??

Unfortunately in the past they ONLY COUNT the Blood that gets collected from St. Pauls towards the Blood battle!!!!!!!!!!!
DEFINATELY give there!!!! PLUS they ALWAYS feed you!!!! And they are always decked out for the blood battle!!!!

I don't have it in front of me, but I don't recall any mention of the Red Cross. The ad stated that the winner would be announced at halftime of the game.

THE ADS RUNNING ARE FROM AULTMAN. THEY WANT YOU TO THINK YOU CAN DONATE ANYWHERE OR TIME AND HAVE IT COUNTED. I RUN THE MASSILLON SITE AT ST. PAULS. YOU MUST DONATE THERE FOR IT TO BE COUNTED. MONDAY OCT.20 12PM-7:30PM EVERYONE GETS A TEE SHIRT. WE WILL HAVE TONS OF FOOD. SO COME OUT AND GIVE A LIFE THAT DAY.GO TIGERS--BEAT MCKINLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:no1:

Sorry if I added to the confusion. Someone asked about an ad that was in the paper and I responded accordingly. I didn't know there were "dueling" blood drives.

Ever since 92.5 radio did their first show there I've been going to St. Pauls. I'm not changing my local now. I rather go with the Red Cross than Aultman knowing that my blood for sure will be counted as Tiger Blood. In everything, BEAT McKINLEY !!! and crush the rest.

This is the only time of the year that I give, and make sure you give at St. PAUL. I don't even recall the last time we lost the blood drive. I think we have won the last 8-9 years in a row.

I'll definitely be there! Wow, a whole town of donors who are type O!
