Hey MP family, just wanted to ask everyone to keep one of our favorite XTigers and Friend, Monte, in your prayers. He has been experiencing some medical difficulties and is pretty much bedridden (for now) due to doctor's orders.

Monte, our thoughts and prayers are with you for a complete recovery from your complications. Get better soon cause we miss you on here!

Thank you for the prayers and support during my trying times.

I have had 7 knee surgeries due to MRSA and have been bedridden due to massive blood clots as a result of all the inmobility during the last 8 months. I eventully had to have my knee ligaments removed due to infection. It has been a very trying time for me and my family but with the Lord's guidence and my strength to keep fighting---I wll recover!!!

However, I have been slowly regaining strength and hope to be back on my feet in a few weeks. I had to sneak downstairs while everyone is sleeping to get on the internet to read and post tonight.

Again, thanks to all of you for caring and thinking about me during this down time for me! Tigers keep fighting and I will fight until I am back to full strength!!!

As you know...MRSA is nothing to play with. Listen to the doctors and do what you have to, to get better. You will be in our families' prayers. Don't worry about everyone else...please take care of yourself and get well soon!! We miss your insightful and knowledgeable posts on MP. :2thumbsup:

Our family will be praying for you and your family.
My father-in-law did battle with MRSA, it was a nasty fight for him also. But, one year later and he is fine!!!:thumbsup:
