The accused coach says that this was justified by some of the happenings and contentiousness that took place during the game? Then the young man's dad kicking the coach's ass is justified to, in my opinion. What a moron.

No adult should shove a child, ever. And this happened in St. Louis, of all places. Tsk, tsk...
Force was definitely applied wrongly on this one.

After a stiff arm like that, the coach in question has nothing left to prove.
Did this really happen in the hometown of Torhi Murphy Lee Harper?!

Well I'll tell right now, my video cam is ALWAYS running at these games and most of the practices. And I am always well aware of who else is filming and or taking photos. Cause you better believe that if this happened to my son, I don't give a F$%*, it would be goin' down right now! After I got out of the way of those other cams lol.

CarlE,
St. Louis is the #1 toughest city in the U.S. I would expect something like that to happen.
And that's not the only place......

We're not talking about East St. Louis here, Keno. Calm down. You know not of which you speak.

What the coach did was totally uncalled for. The player involved probably did some hardnose hitting on this coach's son and he didn't like it. I for one give the father a big kudo for not going after this coach and beating the crap out of him. For what this coach did, he could have injured this boy very badly.
I think, when and if this coach gets arrested for this incident and is sentenced, the judge should first lecture him, sentence him to jail or house arrest, do community service, banned him from all sports, send apology letter to the boy and his family and also to the school, and make him attend coach's clinic's and do a speech on how not to be a jerk!!!!

And then the father should go to his house and F$%^ him up. Sorry, I'm a good guy, but I'd have a real hard time letting that go.

I understand where you are coming from...It would be very hard for me to hold myself back from not beating, you know what, out of him. But, the father of this player, did the right thing at the time, and I am sure somebody was probably holding him back, if he saw what was going on. And IMO this father is showing his son that fighting does not accomplishing anything.
In the long wrong, the law is on this family's side, more so since the father did not react and I hope justice will prevail!!
