I found this to very interesting and thought it worth sharing. We have discussed this topic for some time and IMHO it has been confirmed statistically in the following:

(In the "sort by" category select "schedule" in the drop-down menu; then go to the far right and hit "select".
But all that really counts for right now is, BEAT BUCHTEL!

Hmmm Massillon is 18 while Perry is 32.
Yet someone from Perry had the nerve to call the Indy on the line and rip our program because we lost last friday while they were still undefeated.
I'm glad as heck that Perry is having a great season and i wish them the best this week against Mckinley. However the bottom line is that if Perry had our schedule they wouldnt be 6-0. And if we had their schedule we wouldnt be 3-3. I'm sure Mckinley will remind them of that on staurday night...But for what its worth...Go Perry. I hope you can prove me wrong.

The "On the Line" comments are nothing compared to the comments made on the WHBC postgame show. It's OK, few people talk about losing programs.

Must have been a very uniformed Perry fan. I'm pleased the Panthers are 6-0, but I'm not ready to proclaim them anything other than a good team at this point. Sunday morning, I might feel differently.

6 and 0 is a fine mark no matter the opponent. ALthough waiting until Sunday is a wise decision before touting how good they really are. Good luck with that.

Unfortunately, you don't get any Harbin points for strength of schedule.

Perry will lose Saturday by 3 tds!! Perry is a federal league team that has a weak schedule--period! This game might be over by halftime! All Massillon fans should be routing for the dogs because we need the harbins!!!!

No Massillon fan should be pulling for Perry to win!
Obie Wan, correct me if I'm wrong, but it could make the difference for us having a week eleven this year.

Thats true-- we want mckinley to go in week 10 at 9-0 because WHEN WE WIN that will put us in with a home game! 7-3 most likey gives us a game at PBTS!!!

So does that mean that McKinley would beat Colerain by the same amount? Did you happen to check out Tiger Don's most recent article? Here's an excerpt.

The power ratings in calpreps.com can be used to rank the various public school leagues. Here’s a quick look at the ones in Division 1.
1. Federal League – 26 pt. average; McKinley best at 42 pts
2. Ohio Capital Conference – 23 pt. average; Westerville South best at 44 pts
3. Greater Miami Conference – 20 pt. average; Colerain best at 45 pts
4. Cardinal Conference – 18 pt. average; Ashland best at 36 pts
5. Western Reserve Conference – 16 pt. average; Solon best at 41 pts
6. Southwest Conference – 15 pt. average; Brunswick best at 32 pts
7. Greater Western Ohio Conference – 13 pt. average; Wayne best at 35 pts
8. Lake Erie League – 12 pt. average; Mentor best at 46 pts
9. Greater Buckeye Conference – 12 pt. average; Fremont Ross best at 35 pts
Surprise, surprise. The Federal League is on top. In case you’re wondering, Massillon has 36 points, while Warren Harding has 21.

A McKinley win will do two things for us:
- It will give us more Harbins after we beat them in week 10.
- It may well be the first loss in a 3-game losing streak for Perry. I wouldn't necessarily bet the ranch on Perry beating Jackson and Hoover. If Perry finishes 7-3, (I think) they will have fewer points than us even at 6-4.
I don't know that a Perry win would keep us out, because 7-3 would put us in even if McKinley finishes 8-2. It might make a difference in seeding, though, as it will take points from us and make Perry a virtual lock.
BTW, there are very reasonable scenarios in which Hoover, Perry, and Jackson all miss the playoffs. Go Fitch.

Man that means crap in head to head meetings! dogs beat panthers by 3 tds and NOONE in the fed would beat Colerain including McKinley! I have watched them twice and they just might be the best team in the state right now!
