Hell yea! His dad works for the browns and you know he has been lobbying for his kid!! I saw the kid at Miami this summer at camp! He asked a few players from Massillon after the game that are being recruited at miami to be possible roommates next year!! The kid was politicing for his future school!

Why hadnt i heard of this kid until he handed our asses to us?! Im kind of tired of people jumping on his bandwagon.

And yes, he's a D1 recruit.

He wasn't a surprise to the coaching staff before the game. Unfortunately Ignatius executed better and opened some good lanes for him.

I research rivals.com, ohio high school magazine, and frequented the camp scene this year! he played DB since he was a freshman and moved to starting rb this season but was being recruited by all the Mac schools and a few big ten schools at DB before the season started! I am pretty sure he is headed to Miami of Ohio from what I has said!!

Matthew Merletti is just like Dan Murphy. He got stronger as the game wore on!

its amazing how ignorant you are as the game went on he got tired and it was visible to everyone on the field and in the stands. He had an interception return with noone within like 20yards of him doesnt really count as getting stronger.

he was very tired you could tell as he kept taking himself out and you could tell by his manerisms that he was tired

Mike Da Man 13,

You remind me of a McKinley person whose name I won't divulge who said I was ignorant about their program and accused me of making a comment about another player's mother (I'll spare you the details...I know who this person was but I'm keeping his name to myself).

Now on to your post. I was speaking from a running game approach. I know about Cleveland St. Ignatius' style of play and their running game.

Let me tell you something. I might be the most ignorant person on this forum but I can honestly tell you this: you don't see what I see when I am in the pressbox.

I might not agree with your stance but I respect your opinion.

Horsecrap on both counts.

Watching from the stands...he did not seem to get that tired.
Also, I SERIOUSLY question the "within 20 yards".
It looked to me that we had two people who just gave up chasing him.
If he was all that "tired" they might have caught him.

Maybe they were pumping him full of energy drinks loaded with ginseng over on the sidelines:wow:

I would be tired too as much as he ran the ball and played "D' all night!! He played as many plays as any of our two way players and he seemed fresh to me!!! He had a break out game on the ground! Iggy runs the same play every year-- Stretch play to the 3/4 or 5/6 hole and they block it well! we have not stopped that play against them in 10 games! They also love the post play but not many teams are successful with post patterns with our secondary the past 2 years!
