Good line play......Excellent RB and Receivers....Good QB with a nice arm. Defense is playing very well.........
Offense can't score points........
Speedsters all over the field........

Should ba a good game. I'm thinking 24-17 one way or another!

What do you attribute the lack of scoring on ?? If the line, RB's and QB are good, where's the problem???:afro:

The teams we lost against have been better in the second half......

Big Red and Buchtel tied at the half.........6-6
Fitch and Buchtel tied at the half............0-0
Harding led Buchtel at the half I think......7-0 or 10-0

Problem is second half adjustments I think!

Question for the Buchtel poster.
I have seen Buchtel play many times in the past, and it seems they never had a solid kicker. I remember one year, they rarely kicked an extra point. they always went for 2. Do you have a kicker this year?

Beat Buchtel! Should be a good game because I know another team that is having some trouble putting it into the endzone! Stats gallore, but very few points!

I've watched all the games this year some 2 and 3 times, I was in IRAQ for last years games but watched them on DVD. The difference is like our coach said "is play making ( tackling) on DEFENSE....". On offense, well thats a different story, our line is not so mobile, or quick. Size is great but you give up speed and the ability to get down field to make the second level blocks, our recievers are watching the game and not blocking down field, and well if you can't read a defense to throw the ball you just can't.... The short outs are nice but there are other levels, mid and long these stretch the field and get some out of the box.....our back is very good but if you only have to defend one it's not to hard to see.....There are kids who should be on the field who can do these things but for some reason they are not.......Coaches call........Like I said at the start I've watched the games from the stands and it's easy to see problems from there, the coaches have their hands full.........push INTENSITY.....go tigers.....

I saw the AF game. It seemed as if the Griffs ran out of gas late in the game. AF will do that to you with their punishing ground attack. Do you agree????:gogogo:

In all seriousness 32 Pitts is a good one. A typical Buchtel tailback. 55 and 99 on defense are specimens and are very aggressive. Scheme is typical of what Brown has run over the years.

Yeah, they also outhit us on defense and that rarely happens to The Griffs! We had more than a few opportunities lost when we passed the ball also.

Big Time,

Our kicking game has been suspect alot over the last 20 years. I hope you're not making a big deal about it! We don't look to out kick anyone!

with all of the things that have gone wrong for our tigers, we were just a few plays away from winning a couple of those games. i have total confidence in our players and coaches to get it going. i think this week you will see things change and our tigers will bounce back and get a big win!

I could be wrong, but i predict we will win by 17 points or more!
I believe in you boys!! go tigers!

no offense to anyone, just think our kids are going to find that fire in them!
