Tiger freshmen beat Akron Hoban last night 28-0.

I wanted to see that game but I was in Willoughby yesterday watching my grandson playing on the Willoughby freshman team. Good job young Tigers on the victory. GO TIGERS BEAT NORMANDY

A couple players stood out to me. #23 Asaviar (sp?) Robinson is a beast. Great size and runs real well. #26 Alex Winters. He didn't play much until the end for some reason though. First time he touches the ball he goes 60 yd. for a TD.

i thought #7 and #27 did very well. there is plenty of talent on that team and the potential is great IF, they keep working hard and work as a team. good luck the rest of the way tigers!

The freshmen coaches are to be commended here. For working hard every day to instill the discipline that was desperatley needed and for not giving up on them or letting them give up. Good luck to both team and coaches for continued success

Tiger 1--- also, he is the son of Rocky Arnold which tells me he has alot of athletic ability. Rocky was stronger,faster, and better than alot of so called "star" football players on our team from 86-88 but just would not stay in school and out of trouble.

JV has only played Hoover and Mck so far with two W's. They play Normandy today at Parma.

I didn't know that Monte. Rocky was a great athlete. Porkchop also has a brother named Adarius that is a phenominal athlete. He will be a great skill player in years to come IF he can adjust the attitude a bit. The freshmen class is a decent class with some star quality players. They are not a great TEAM as of yet.

no they are not a great team YET, and i think that they are better than decent, now having said that if they continue to work their butts off and adjust their attitudes, then in my opinion from what i have seen of them they could be great. they have a ton of talent in this class. i spoke to some of the MMS coaches and they agree that they could be great if they adjust their attitudes.

from week 1 to week 2 it looks like maybe they are making progress. good luck to them the rest of the way.
