........OOPS!!...sorry everyone....I was watching McCain's speech and I must have nodded off and hit my head on the keyboard. :tounge:
This is almost too painful to watch. I can see now why he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. She is young and exciting. She has the energy that he is SOOOOOOO lacking. McCain is slow , old and booooooring. To tell you the truth, i'm amazed he is still up this late, because he has put everybody else to sleep. I'm supposed to have a root canal tomorrow, I just called my dentist and begged him to do it now !!!.....LOL Kidding...just kidding.

Pathetic! Like I said on another thread, nobody will remember it tomorrow, and he now plays second fiddle to his running mate.
The plan was oviously to have Palin "the pitbull" rally the base, and then have McCain try to build a case for the undecided voters. Unfortunately for the Republican party the undecided voters that may have tuned in tonight won't be impressed with a re-run of the history of John McCains days in Nam, and his military experiences. We, and they, have heard that story about 1,743,269 times already! It's lost it's appeal as justification to be the next President of the USA!
I did like the way he stood in front of the Bush apologists that reluctantly nominated him, and slammed the little cowboy and his administration for basically being a joke! I guess that makes him a maverick!
