Tell me if im way off base or what

A lot of us get drug tested for our line of work. So we are all drug free or at least id like to think your all drug free & in order to make $ at your job you are drug free.

Now I have no problem how the govt spends our taxes on social services like WIC etc..

Do you think we should drug test people who are getting social services in order to obtain $ from our taxes?

We need to wait and see if the Massillon City Law Director decides that alcohol falls under the "drug" category.

I don't think the Massillon City Law Director wants to approach the subject of drug testing.

I don't think he has a choice:

"Loudiana said the city has a policy for drug use by employees, but it is unclear whether alcohol is a drug under the policy. An investigation by the city law department should clarify the matter by today, he said."

While I'm not all pro drugs, I'm of the opinion that if someone wants to harm their body and mind on their off time that's their problem. Drug testing is bullshit. If a person appears to be drugged at work they should be taken to task about it, but random drug tests or any sort other than that shouldn't be legal and in a free society should be protested.

I have seen far more people drugged on OTC and perscription medicines in my lifetime in a work place than I have ever thought someone was high or something else. It's really affronting.

I know several people who smoke marijuana for instance. It doesn't inhibit their work performance in any such way, in fact, I think it's likely it increases it.

Take it to the person screwing up, not everyone. If I come to work drunk, high, or whatever then take me to task for it, fire me for it, but if I get drunk, high, or whatever on my own time what business is it to anyone?

I would agree. But, I was serious earlier. Politicians SHOULD BE. If we have people with their finger on the trigger... pull their blood. I don't need some pill-popping, alcoholic staggering to the red button.

I would agree, hopefully with the amount of attention politicians, especially those running for our highest government positions, receive we'd know if they were this sort of person. I'd find it hard to believe we wouldn't
