Hello Gang !!
Does the telepro dept, or the Mr Richard's school store sell DVD's of the games ???
As an out-of-towner, the radio broadcasts leave you needing to SEE what is going on.
If anyone has any details, please post. I would think that game DVD's at $ 9.99 would be an AWESOME $$$ maker for the class.

I bought the Mentor game from last year from the school... Can't remember what I paid though, it seemed like it was more than 10 bucks

From what I can remember, Mr D. and Mr. Sheetz never really minded when people asked for TAPES.
This was back in 2001 before DVD's replaced everyones collections. Also, people would come pick them up. I dont ever remember them shipping any of them out. Just call the school and ask for the dept.

Are these complete non edited games? Who provides the audio narration? I bought the 1991 Mass vs Mck game years ago on VHS. I think it was produced by the Massillon Tiger Football Museum. Anyway, it is not done well. I hope the DVD's are of better quality.

Non edited? None of the games done by the telepro dept. are edited. Its live to tape.
I think we all might be talking about something entirely different?
:crap:

I'm in Telepro at the high school right now.
Like someone else said, the games are done live to tape.
The play-by-play and color commentary is done by students..so you can't expect it to be the best.
I think if you called them or got in touch with them somehow they could more than likely get a dvd set up for you.

So they don't already have something set up to sell the game DVD's ???

as far as i know they don't. like i think they make a highlight dvd at the end of the season for the players but other than that i don't think they do anything else.

Can you ask your Telepro teacher what my options are ?? Perhaps I could have my son 'talk' to the teacher, as he is a WHS telepro grad !! :heee:

Like I said, I got the Mentor game last year... It might have not been "professionally" done, but I thought it was pretty darned good. I sure didn't feel like I was ripped off and I'm sure I'll order some more games. Not sure about the editing part but I was just really appreciative that I could get a copy of that game, even though we lost I thought it was our best effort and it was a classic game. The guy I talked to I believe was the teacher and he was real nice about everything and I got it really quick too...

Well we use DV tape to tape it. Then we put it onto the computer and edit it. And most of the time they just export those as quicktime files and we watch them on the projector in our studio.
They make collect dvds of all our different projects though. Then if we want our own we have to make them ourselves.
