I was going over Lincoln way viaduct & drove past a group of 4 or 5 black teens. One car behind me was a Amish buggy & i was watching my my mirror & these kids kept looking back at it & slowing down until the stopped. The buggy then got in the other lane & went past them.

Now I was wondering why he got in the other lane.. It's not like it was letting traffic past it because it would of just went around the buggy.

Do you think they got in the other lane to avoid these teens?

It might be because sometimes people do this and then blast their car horn to startle the horses.

I think the buggy was turning left at the bottom of the viaduct to go to the farmer's market at the rec center. They have to find a clearing big enough to switch lanes before the bottom of the viaduct.

Wondering if they did it because they thought they were going to do some thing to them.

Really? You might want to tell Ezra Wengerd, the Amish gentleman I worked with in Orrville in the summer of 1976. He'll be glad to know some tree-hugger living on Florida's wrong coast knows more about his Amish heritage and his name than him. Please stop. I just get so, so tired of doing this to you.

Oh, I processed paychecks so I SAW his name if you were going to try and dispute me. Although I would have thought you would have learned your lesson on that by now. LOL.

Whew. Time to take a break from this. See, this is what happens when I don't travel for a couple of weeks. I get stir crazy and go berserk on web-sites. Need to hit Lauderdale Beach and chill for a bit!!! :drinkem:
