I suspect the funeral home is going to be a VERY crowded place. RIP, Dr. Immel. You certainly are one of the great ones.

When I was younger, he rarely charged my parents for my check ups....
I rarely had any cavities, and he just wouldn't charge for a 5 minute checkup.
They just don't make 'em like him anymore.
May he rest in peace.

Doc Immel was the best. What a shock to the wallet when he retired and we had to pay full price at another dentist. I remember once when I was in my late teens and skipped a dentist appointment. He called the house and yelled at me for not showing up and said to come right now and he'll be waiting. I reluctantly went to the appointment and he lectured me the whole time about taking care of my teeth and being responsible enough to show up when I was supposed to. Needless to say, I didn't miss any more appointments. He knew I was scared of the dentist and he always tried to calm me down. A very classy guy.

Everytime we pass your old home, see your circus at the museum, or watch your beloved Tigers…you will be there.
We will miss him….

God be with the Immel family
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
